사관생도 정체성 향상을 위한 생도정체성 도구 개발

Abstract

본 연구는 목적대학에 근무하는 생도 훈육관으로서 후배육성을 위해 보탬이 되고자 하는 순수한 마음에서 시작되었으며, 본 연구의 목적은 생도아이덴티티(정체성)의 개념적기틀 마련과 이를 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구의 진행은 일반적인 아이덴티티(정체성) 개념으로부터 접근하여 생도아이덴티티 개념을 이끌어내었으며, 문헌고찰과 현장자료를 비교분석하는 방식의 혼종모형을 응용하였다. 문헌고찰과 현장작업으로부터 얻은 생도아이덴티티의 개념정의와 더불어 민감하고 어려운 사안임에도 불구하고 측정이 가능한 생도아이덴티티 도구개발을 최초로 시도하였다는데 그 의의가 있다. 혼종모형을 응용하여 얻은 생도아이덴티티의 개념정의는 다음과 같다. "생도로서의 자기역할 및 대인역할기대에 부응하고자 고유한 문화와 환경에 의해 의식ㆍ무의식적으로 조금씩 습득된 가치관 및 내적자세로부터 습성화되고 내면화된 행동 및 외적자세로 이어지는 내적ㆍ외적인 멋의 총체로써 개인에게 항상 무엇을 하든지 강한 영향력을 미치는 것이며, 생도로서의 자부심과 자존심은 물론 자아실현을 느끼게 하는 것"이 바로 생도 아이덴티티인 것이다. 이러한 정의들로부터 이끌어낸 생도아이덴티티의 개념적 기틀은 역할인식, 행동 및 외적자세, 가치관 및 내적자세 등 3가지로 범주화하였고, 각각 2개의 하부구조로 분리하였다. 위의 개념적 기틀을 바탕으로 생도아이덴티티 도구개발은 최초 가용한 118개 문항에서 10명으로 구성된 전문가 집단에 의해 내용타당성을 인정받은 66개 문항을 선정, 대상자 184명에게 설문지를 수렴하였으며, SPSS를 이용한 문항분석과 요인분석을 실시하였고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 문항분석결과 item-total correlation의 유의수준인 .40이하를 얻어 전체문항에의 기여도가 낮은 것으로 판단되는 10개 문항이 제외됨으로써 총 56문항만이 요인분석을 위해 채택되었다. 2. 요인분석은 요인추출에서 고유값이 1이상인 것을 선택한 결과 13개 요인수가 결정되었으며, 이 때의 누적설명변량은 66.110%였다. Varimax 회전방법을 이용하였으며, 13개 요인은 다음과 같다. 1요인은 용모 및 태도 로 명명하였으며 11개 문항이 포함되었다. 2요인에는 5개 문항이 포함되었으며 신념과 용기 로 명명하였다. 3요인은 자부심과 자존감 으로 명명하였고 7개 문항을 포함하였으며, 4요인은 조직몰입 으로 5개 문항이, 5요인은 극기와 희생 으로 명명하였고 5개 문항이 포함되었으며, 6요인은 책임과 의무 로 명명하였고 6개 문항이 포함되었으며, 7요인은 이타심 으로 5개 문항이, 8요인은 명예 로 2개 문항, 9요인은 공동체 의식 으로 2개 문항, 10요인은 내적자기통제 로 3개 문항, 11요인은 외적자기통제 로 2개 문항, 12요인은 군인정신 으로 2개 문항, 13요인은 제복 으로 1개 문항이 각각 포함되었다. 3. 56 문항 전체의 신뢰도 값 Alpha는 .9612였으며, 각 문항별 신뢰도 값 Alpha는 .8944에서 .9101까지로 매우 높게 나타났다. 4. 각 요인별 상관관계 분석결과 1요인과 6요인이 .728로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 9요인과 13요인은 .158로 가장 낮은 상관관계를 나타내었다. 따라서 사관생도로서의 용모 및 태도는 책임과 의무를 자각하는데서 비롯된다고 볼 수 있으며, 제복은 공동체 의식에 큰 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다.; This study was designed to educating and counselling cadets effectively. It s intentions are to develop of the framework of cadet s identity and to make a reasonable tool that can measure cadet s identity. Adapted method in this study is used the Hybrid Model, which is combined of literature review and clinical data from observation or unstructured questionnaire results. Questionnaire was filled out by 184 cadets. From this method cadets s identity is defined as below " Inner and spiritual posture is gained either consciously or unconsciously from culture and environment a cadet. Gained inner posture will eventually become outer postures and these inner/outer posture will always have strong influence on a cadet. Aside from feeling pride as a cadet, a cadet will also feel self assureance. This is the definition Cadet Identity." Factor Analysis is used for data analysis and Cronbach alpha is used to measure the reliability The followings were the result, 1. Extraction method of principal componant Analysis is carried out. The result of item - total statistics is 10 items‘s corrected item-total correlation are below .40 but Alpha if item deleted is higher than .90 so, 56 items are accepted for Cadet s Identity Tool. 2. Factor Analysis of all of 56 items is carried out Varimax Rotation. There are 13 classified factors which is based on Eigen Value and Cummulative percentage is 66.110%. 13 classified factors which are outer posture(1 factor), faith and courage (2 factor), Pride and Self esteem(3 factor), salutation to organization (4 factor), Self restraint and a sacrifice(5 factor), responsibility and creation(6 factor), others esteem (7 factor), Honor(8 factor), Community Consciousness(9 factor), Self-denial (10 factor), Self control(11 factor), salutation to native country (12 factor) and military uniform(13 factor). 3. The reliability coefficient figure of this tool is .9612 and each items s reliability figure is between .8944 and .9101. 4. The result of Correlation each item : 1 factor is related to 6 factor highly, but 9 factor and 13 factor is related very lowly. so outer posture as a cadet is related to responsibility and creation highly, but community consciousness is related to military uniform very lowly. So, This Scale was identified to be a tool with a high degree of Reliability and validity.
