초등학교 가창 교육을 위한 인터넷 자료의 활용 연구 : 국내 웹사이트의 검색과 분석을 중심으로

Abstract

In modern society which emphasizes the importance of information, activeness of using and re-creating carefully selected information is taken as competitiveness of a nation, a company and an individual. Accordingly, the internet, which provides various kinds of information promptly, has become an essential means for everyone to get necessary information. Therefore, it is urgent to suggest plans for using affluent multi media learning data of the internet in the education field where next generations of information society are being educated. In the case of music subject, especially, elementary students do not participate actively in music class because of the more elevating their grade, the more shrinking to class time. Learning singing, the very basic of music activity and the part that takes up the biggest part of music education has many problems. To students who are accustomed to popular music that stimulates the sense of sight and hearing, still now by teaching with piano accompaniment simply in singing class, they have passive attitude toward music. Accordingly, through internet multimedia learning data., this study has a purpose to derive positive participation with experience about learning data of singing to elementary students who have weak concentration in music class and show the selected and rich information about singing to music teachers. By keeping pace with spread of internet rapidly, this study searches and analyzes information about singing-related learning data in elementary school that we can get from the web sites that have the most users in services offered from internet. Also, this study is designed to share the information with music teachers by analysing and categorizing the result of the study and realizing to this on web site so that they can apply it for their class. To search for useful information of vast data related to music on internet so that teacher can easily use it, a lot of time and efforts are spent out. So it provides to analyze vast information which is based on teaching experience in elementary school for a few years and then re-compose to fit it for teaching. By doing so, teachers can save their time and effort to search internet data, and the data can be provided as data for information search for students. The process of this study is as follows. My searching work was achieved on web sites for singing education using three major domestic portal sites. Key words for search are music education , singing , phonation , sight-singing and music theories . In here, it was analyzed in the contents of 16 web sites well-chosen through re-searching of good web sites considering with the criteria of Clearinghouse from Michigan Univ., the completion degree of contents as learning data of singing and the utility value of user s web site. This information is made into a homepage so that teachers can use for class in direct. In this homepage, it deals with various educational data related to singing to teach the field of singing study with understanding widely in their class. First of all, this homepage has hyper links so that users can see the classified list and the analysed contents of these web sites in elementary. This homepage also includes help data which shows singing-related web sites provided by Music Educators Journal , an american music magazine specialized in music education, the report about vocalization of Korean classical music, actually in 7th revised textbook which it consists over 40% of Korean classic children s songs, and the age of change of voice, not rare to start from 5th or 6th grade because of rapid growth of elementary student. In addition, bulletin board could help teacher to share information with each other and exchange ideas in their class. The homepage for singing education are opened on internet, and its address is as following: http://iris3892.mytripod.co.kr ; 정보의 중요성이 날로 강조되는 현대 사회에서 정선된 정보를 활용하고 재창조해 내는 적극성은 국가와 기업, 개인의 경쟁력으로 여겨지고 있다. 따라서 신속하면서도 다양한 정보를 제공하는 인터넷은 언제, 어디서나, 누구나 필요한 정보를 제공받을 수 있는 필수적인 수단으로 자리 잡아가고 있다. 그러므로 정보화 시대를 이끌어갈 차세대를 교육하는 교육현장에서 인터넷상의 풍부한 멀티미디어 학습 자료들을 활용하는 방안을 제시하는 것은 시급한 일이다. 특히 음악 교과의 경우 초등학교에서 중등학교로 올라갈수록 주요 과목이 아니라는 이유로 수업 시간은 점차 줄어들고 이로 인해 수업과정에서 학생들의 적극적인 참여가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 그 중에서도 초등학교에서의 가창 영역은 음악 활동의 가장 기본이며 큰 비중을 차지하고 있음에도 불구하고 많은 문제점을 안고 있다. 시각과 청각을 자극하는 대중 가요의 노래 문화에 익숙한 대부분의 학생들을 상대로 음악 교사들은 여전히 단순한 피아노 반주 일변도로 가창 수업을 진행함으로써 학년이 올라갈수록 학생들은 점점 더 수동적인 자세를 보이게 된다. 따라서 새로운 학습도구로서 부각되고 있는 인터넷상의 멀티미디어 학습 자료를 가창 학습에 활용함으로써 집중력이 약한 초등학생들에게 다양한 가창 학습 자료를 경험하게 하여 적극적인 수업 참여를 유도하고, 음악을 가르치는 교사들에게는 정선되고 풍부한 가창 학습 자료를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷의 빠른 확산에 따라 인터넷이 제공하는 서비스 중에서도 가장 많은 사용자를 확보하고 있는 웹을 이용하여 얻을 수 있는 초등학교 가창관련 학습 자료에 관한 정보를 검색·분석하였다. 그리고, 음악을 가르치는 교사들이 수업자료로 이용하기 편리하도록 분석 결과의 내용을 홈페이지로 만들어 네트워크에 올림으로써 초등학교에서 음악을 가르치는 교사들과 이 정보를 공유할 수 있도록 하였다. 대부분의 교사들이 인터넷의 방대한 음악관련 학습 자료 중에서 실제 가창 수업 시간에 활용할 수 있는 정보를 찾기 위해서는 정보를 검색하고 선별하는 과정에서 많은 시간과 노력이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인터넷의 수많은 정보들을 먼저 분석하고 현장 교사들이 이용하기 적합하도록 재구성하여 제공하는 것이다. 그럼으로써 초등학교에서 음악을 가르치는 교사들에게는 인터넷을 이용해서 여러 학습 자료를 검색한 후 실제 가창 수업에 유용하게 활용할 수 있는 학습 자료를 선정하는데 드는 시간과 수고를 덜어줄 수 있고, 학생들에게는 정보검색을 위한 검증된 자료로써 제시될 수도 있다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 절차를 거쳐 진행되었다. 인터넷의 3대 국내 검색엔진을 이용하여 초등학교 가창 교육을 위한 웹사이트를 검색하였는데, 검색 키워드로는 음악교육 , 가창 , 발성 , 시창청음 , 음악이론 등 5가지를 조합하여 사용하였다. 검색된 웹사이트는 미시간 대학의 Clearinghouse 기준과 가창 학습 자료로서의 내용의 완성도, 사용자의 웹사이트 이용도 등을 고려하여 본 연구의 목적과 일치하는 웹사이트만을 다시 검색하여 정선된 16개 웹사이트의 내용만을 분석하였다. 분석한 웹사이트의 내용은 이 정보를 현직 음악 교사들이 직접 활용할 수 있도록 홈페이지로 제작하였다. 이 홈페이지에서는 현재 초등학교에서 음악을 다루고 있는 교사들이 가창 영역에 있어 좀 더 폭넓게 이해하여 가르칠 수 있도록 다양한 가창 학습 자료를 제시하고 있다. 먼저 초등자료로 분류된 웹사이트의 목록과 이 웹사이트들의 분석 내용을 볼 수 있도록 하이퍼링크 하였다. 그리고, 변성기 발성 -요즘의 초등학생들은 성장이 빨라 변성기가 5, 6학년이면 시작되는 경우가 많다-과 국악 발성 -7차교육과정에 의해 개편된 교과서에는 국악동요가 40%를 넘고 있다- 에 관한 논문 자료· 미국의 음악교육 전문 잡지인 Music Educators Journal 에서 가창관련 웹사이트로 제시한 자료를 볼 수 있는 도움 자료실을 제작하였다. 그 외에 교사들이 현장정보를 나누고 의견을 교환할 수 있고, 학생들은 가창 학습에 관한 질문 사항 등의 글을 자유롭게 올릴 수 있는 게시판을 작성하였다. 가창 교육을 위한 홈페이지는 네트워크에 올려 이를 공개하였으며 그 주소는 다음과 같다. http://iris3892.mytripod.co.kr
