C. A. Debussy danses for harp and strings에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 C. A. Debussy가 1904년에 작곡한 “ 반음계 하프와 현을 위한 Danses ”에 관하여 연구, 분석하여 작품에 관한 보다 정확한 이해와 연주에 그 목적을 두고 있다. Debussy는 20세기 음악에 가장 큰 영향을 끼친 프랑스의 작곡가로서 색채적이면서 섬세한 그의 인상주의 음악은 독주곡, 관현악곡, 성악곡, 오페라 실내음악등 여러 장르에 걸쳐 나타나고 있는데 하프라는 악기가 가진 섬세한 음색을 선호한 Debussy는 그의 대부분의 관현악곡에서 하프를 중요한 위치에 배치하였다. “ 반음계 하프와 현을 위한 Danses ”는 두 곡으로 구성되고 간결한 주제적 선율의 제시와 계속적인 반복, 변형으로 작곡되었다. 각 악곡에 사용된 형식을 살펴보면 제1곡은 도입부와 종결부를 가진 소나타 형식, 제2곡은 론도 형식으로 되어 있다. 이 곡에는 명확한 화성 진행, 유사한 성격의 화음형 반주, 병진행, 동형 진행, 5음 음계의 사용, 옥타브 중복으로 주제 선율의 강조, 순차 상행하거나 하행하는 음계형 악구, 유니즌, 지속음 사용등의 작곡 기법과 장식된 스페인 민요 선율이 차용되어 있다. 분석에 앞서 I. 서론에서는 “ 반음계 하프와 현을 위한 Danses ”에 관해 개괄적으로 고찰하며 II. 본론에서는 각 악곡에 나타나는 형식, 선율적 특징, 주제 변형 기법, 리듬, 화성, 주법, 셈여림에 관하여 연구, 분석하고자 한다. ; This dissertation researches and analyzes C. A. Debussy s " Dances for chromatic harp and string orchestra " in 1904. Debussy, who exerted an important effect on twentieth century music, had composed various works ranging from instrumental solo, orchestral works, vocal music, opera and chamber music using delicate Impressional technic. Having favored the harp, he has allowed much importance in most of his orchestral works. " Dances for Chromatic Harp and String Orchestra "is composed of two pieces with exposition, repetition and transformation of simple thematic motive. The first piece is in sonata form with introduction and coda. The second piece is in rondo form inserting episode between thematic exposition. Debussy uses various composal technic, such as pentatonic scale, melodic doubling and sequential progression with the touch of spanish element.
