일부 여대생의 피부건강관리에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위에 관한 조사연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know about the knowledge, attitude and behavior about skin health care of college women students, and they to develop an educational program for an effective skin care that can promote health improvement behavior. The respondents of this study were 650 college women of universities which are located in Seoul. The questionaries used in this study were questioned some students in advance before used in this thesis, and then after being corrected and complemented questioned the students who are respondents in this thesis for 17 days form 1, April 1999 to 17th April 1999. And the result follows. 1. The level of knowledge of the students about skin health care is a total of 21 points and an average of 14.27 points. (1) In a survey about the general characteristics of skin health care, the older and the higher their age and their degree are, the higher the level of the knowledge about skin health care are(p<0.001), And the higher the level of the knowledge about skin health care are and the higher the standard of their lives are, the higher the level of their knowledge about skin health care tend to be(p<0.01). Viewed from the types of the universities about skin health care, the level of the knowledge about skin health care is higher in the students at women s universities than in those going to co-ed. And this research shows that the students graduated from high schools in big cities know the most things about skin health care(P<0.01). (2) In regard of health feature, the college women answering that they have much interests in health know the most things about skin health care(P<0.05). (3) In a survey about skin-related feature, as for the ways for the students to get information about skin health care, the ways that they get information from skin care shop are shown to be the highest level of knowledge about skin health care(P<0.001). 2. The level of attitude about skin health care is a total of 85 points and an average of 65.40 points. (1) In the case of general feature about skin health care, the higher their standard of living is, the higher the level of attitude about skin health care tends to be(p<0.001). And according as the respondents in this theses are the students of women s universities and those at co-ed. the level of attitude about skin health care is shown to be different. The level of attitude about skin health care is higher in the students at women s universities than those going to co-ed(p<0.001). The students graduated from high schools in big cities have high level of attitude about skin health care(p<0.01). (2) In view of health distinction, the respondents answering that they are much interested in health show higher level of attitude about skin health care(p<0.01). (3) As for the skin-related feature, the level of attitude about skin health care is in proportion to their skin condition, the students that have skin trobles have positive attitude toward skin care. And according to this questionaries, when the students get information about skin care from dermatologists, they have higher level of attitude about skin health care(p<0.001). 3. The level of behavior about skin health care is a total of 100points and an average of 54.26 points. (1) In a survey about general characteristics about skin health care, the older and the higher their age and their degree are, the higher the level of behavior about skin health care is(p<0.001). And the higher the standards of their living are, the higher the level of behavior about skin health care also tend to be as shown in the level of knowledge about skin health care(p<0.001). In the questionaries concerning the level of behavior about skin health care in focus on different types of colleges and universities, the students at women s universities show higher level of behavior about skin health care than in those at co-ed. And behavior about skin health care in relation to academic departments is shown to be statistically significant(p<0.001). The location differences of their high schools are statistically significant, too. The college women graduated from high schools in big cities, for example, show the highest interests in the level of behavior about skin health care(p<0.01). and according as they are more satisfied with their appearance and looks they show the higher level of behavior about skin health care(p<0.001). (2) In research on the health feature, the students answering that they have much interest in health higher level of behavior in relation to skin health care(p<0.001). (3) In the questionaries about skin-related feature, the level of behavior about skin health care is higher in the case of the students answering that their skin are in good condition, and that they get information about skin from skin care shop(p<0.001). and in the case of the students experiencing side effect caused by cosmetics(p<0.05). 4. The more they have knowledge about skin health care, the more positive their attitudes toward skin health care are (p<0.01). And the more positive their attitudes about skin health care are, the more they practice the behavior about skin health care(p<0.01). ; 본 연구는 여대생을 대상으로 피부건강관리에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위를 파악하여 건강증진행위를 촉진하는 효과적인 피부건강교육프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구는 서울시내에 위치한 대학의 여대생 650명을 대상으로 하였으며, 사전조사를 실시한 후 설문지를 수정, 보완하여 1999년 4월 1일부터 4월 17일까지 17일간에 걸쳐 본 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 모두 전산부호화하여 SPSS Win 8.0을 이용하였으며, 빈도, 백분율, 평균 및 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson s Correlation Coefficient, 단계별 중회귀 모형(Stepwise Multiple Regression)의 통계기법에 의해 분석하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 피부건강관리에 대한 지식의 평균점수는 14.27점(21점 만점)이었다. (1) 일반적 특성에서는 연령과 학년이 높을수록 피부건강관리에 대한 지식수준이 높았으며(p<0.001) 생활수준이 높을수록 피부건강관리에 대한 지식수준 또한 높은 경향을 보였다(p<0.01). 대학교 유형에 따른 피부건강관리에 대한 지식수준은 여대가 남녀공학의 여대생보다 높았으며 출신고교소재지가 대도시일 경우가 가장 피부건강관리에 대한 지식수준이 높았다(p<0.01). (2) 건강특성별로는 건강에 대해 관심이 많다고 응답한 여대생이 피부건강관리에 대한 지식수준이 높았다(p<0.05). (3) 피부관련 특성의 경우 피부건강관리에 대한 지식수준은 피부관리실을 통해 정보를 습득한 경우가 피부건강관리에 대한 지식수준이 가장 높았다(p<0.001). 2. 피부건강관리에 대한 태도의 평균점수는 65.40점(85점 만점)이었다. (1) 일반적 특성에서는 생활수준이 높을수록 피부건강관리에 대한 태도점수가 높은 경향을 보였고 대학교 유형에 따른 피부건강관리에 대한 태도점수는 여대가 남녀공학의 여대생보다 높았다(p<0.001). 출신고교소재지가 대도시일 경우가 가장 피부건강관리에 대한 태도수준이 높았다(p<0.01). (2) 건강특성별로는 건강하다고 응답한 여대생과 건강에 대해 관심이 많다고 응답한 여대생이 피부건강관리에 대한 태도점수가 높았다(p<0.01). (3) 피부관련 특성의 경우 피부건강관리에 대한 태도점수는 피부상태가 좋을수록 높았고 피부에 대한 고민이 있는 경우에서 높게 나타났으며(p<0.01) 피부과 의원을 통해 정보를 습득한 경우가 피부건강관리에 대해 가장 긍정적인 태도를 보였다(p<0.001). 3. 피부건강관리 행위의 평균점수는 54.26점(100점 만점)이었다. (1) 일반적 특성에서는 연령과 학년이 높을수록 피부건강관리 행위수준이 높았으며(p<0.001) 생활수준이 높을수록 피부건강관리에 대한 행위수준 또한 높은 경향을 보였다(p<0.001). 대학교 유형에 따른 피부건강관리 행위수준은 여대가 남녀공학의 여대생보다 높았으며 계열별로도 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.001). 출신고교소재지가 대도시일 경우가 가장 피부건강관리 행위수준이 높았고(p<0.01) 외모에 만족도가 높을수록 피부건강관리 행위수준이 높았다(p<0.001). (2) 건강특성별로는 건강에 대해 관심이 많다고 응답한 여대생이 피부건강관리 행위수준이 높았다(p<0.001). (3) 피부관련 특성의 경우 피부건강관리 행위수준은 본인이 피부상태가 좋다고 응답한 여대생과 피부관리실을 통해 정보를 습득한 경우가 피부건강관리 행위수준이 높았으며(p<0.001) 화장품 부장용 경험이 없는 경우에서 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 4. 피부건강관리에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위와의 관련성은 피부건강관리에 대한 지식이 높을수록 피부건강관리에 대한 태도가 긍정적이며(p<0.01), 피부건강관리에 대한 태도가 긍정적일수록 피부건강관리행위의 실천도가 높은 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.01).
