Maximal tori of p-compact groups and generalized sullivan conjecture

Abstract

이 논문에서 우리는 compact Lie군의 많은 내적 구조를 가지고 있는 p-compact군의 구조와 그와 관련된 성질들을 공부한다. 특히 우리는 다음의 것을 증명한다. : 즉 임의의 p-compact군은 compact Lie군에서와 같이 maximal torus를 가지며, 또한 Miller의 정리를 p-compact군으로 일반화시킬 수 있다. ; In this thesis, we investigate the properties of p-compact group and its related topics. The p-compact group posesses much of the rich internal structure of a compact Lie group. In fact, we prove the following : Any p-compact group has a maximal torus and Miller s Theorem can be generalized to p-compact groups.
