Abstract
Elliptic partial differential equations를 푸는 여러 가지 solvers 중 PLTMG라는 package를 이용하녀 Poisson equation의 solution을 구한다. 이 package를 이용하기 위해 finite element approximation과 posteriori error estimates에 대해 알아본다. 또한 circle과 square domain 위에서의 Poisson equation의 solution을 uniform refinement와 adaptive refinement 시켜서 각각 graphical하게 나타내고 그 때의 error estimates를 알아본다. ; We use the package PLTMG for solving the elliptic partial differential equations among many solvers to study finite element approximation and posteriori error estimates. We solve the poisson equation on the two different domains, circular and square domains. Numerical experiments to compare the uniform refinement and the adaptive refinement on each domain are included.
