국내 소재 정보와 디자인 연구 : 세기말 소재 정보와 기성복 디자인 창작을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문의 목적은 1990년대 국내 패션에 나타난 소재 경향의 특성을 연구하고, 2000년대의 패션과 소재 경향의 예측을 연구하는데 있다. 그리고 이를 토대로 2000년 춘하를 위한 기성복 디자인을 창작하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법은 패션 소재 관련 문헌과 국내외의 소재 관련 패션 정보지 및 스워치 북을 참조하여 우선 1990년대 국내 패션의 환경적 요인을 지적하고, 국내 여성복에 사용된 소재 종류의 경향과 그 특성을 연구하였다. 또한 연구 분석한 내용을 중심으로 2000년대를 위한 패션과 소재 경향을 전망하고, 여성복을 위한 테마를 제안하여 실제적으로 기성복 디자인을 기획하고, 실물제작을 하였다. 1990년대 패션의 환경적 요인은 정보화 사회, 환경에 대한 관심 고조, 대중문화의 확산, 세기말적인 사회불안의 증가, 합리적인 소비증가 등이 있었고, 여성복에 사용된 소재를 분석한 결과, 신축성 소재, 신합섬, 새로운 감각의 자연 소재, 편성물 소재, 페미닌 소재, 하이테크 가공소재 그리고 소재의 복합화 등으로 나타났다. 이러한 소재를 사용한 1990년대 여성복의 패션 경향은 트래디셔널, 자연주의와 테크놀로지의 혼합, 모던 엘레강트 등으로 전개되면서 다양한 소재가 사용되었다. 전반적으로 1990년대 패션은 합리적이고 실용적인 경향을 띠면서 디자인이나 디테일 등의 변화보다는 소재의 다양한 활용 방법에 초점을 두었다. 2000년대의 사회 환경을 보면 테크노와 감성이라는 두가지의 축을 토대로 더욱 성숙될 것이며, 첨단 정보화에 의한 코쿠닝, 여성적 가치관, 에고노믹스, 속도감, 세계화 등이 패션과 소재 산업의 배경으로 예측된다. 이러한 배경하에서 2000년대 패션 소재의 경향은 하이테크 소재, 자연 소재, 경량화 소재, 복합화 소재, 전통 문화의 접목 등으로 예측되며, 합리성, 기능성, 개성화가 더욱 요구될 것이다. 따라서 2000년대의 패션은 고도의 첨단화와 함께 인간적인 감성과 가치를 중시하는 경향으로 예측된다. 이상의 1990년대의 소재 경향의 특성과 2000년대 패션 소재 경향에 대한 전망을 토대로 본 논문에서는 2000년 춘하를 위한 기성복 디자인을 창작하였다. 컨셉은 합리적인 기능성에 입각한 여성미이며, 타깃은 30세 전후의 전문직 여성으로 하였다. 소재는 라이트 그레이 색상의 울 저지를 사용하여 이미지 맵, 패션 일러스트레이션, 작업지시서를 작성하고, 실제로 작품을 제작하였다. 디자인 아이템은 자연스럽고 편안한 실루엣의 슈트와 원피스이며, 도식적인 세련미를 표현하는 디자인에 초점을 두었다. ; The purposes of this thesis are to investigate of fabric characteristics in women’s wear as reviewing the fabric trends in 1990’s domestic fashion. Also this thesis aims at prospecting fashion trends and fabric trends in 2000 on the base of 1990’s trend. And the another purpose are to understand the characteristics of the apparel design according to the fabric as designing the women’s wear. As a method to accomplish this research, I have examined the articles related to fashion fabric and fashion trend magerzines. This study considered women’s wear relatively used diverse fabrics, there was not previous study regarding the fabrics used in domestic, since the 1990’s. On the base of the results from this study, I proposed the theme for the womens wear for the 2000 spring & summer and creatively designed. The social fators for the 1990’s fashion were the influence of the informationalized, the increased concern for the ecological environment, the sattlement of young popular culture, the increase of reasonable consume and social anxiety. To understand the fashion trends of the 1990’s women’s wear, it is divided 3 period. The traditional period is from 1991 to 1993, the mixed period of the naturalism and the technology is from 1994 to 1995, the retro period is from 1996 to 1998. The characteristics of the fabrics used in 1990’s women’s wear were the appearance of various functional fabrics, the development of new synthetic fabric with high sensitivity, the popularization of circular knit, the fabrics with a retro mood toward traditional feminine mood and the blending of fabrics. The fashion of 1990 have had the characteristics of various utilization of the materials on the base of reasonable and practical trends than the changes of design and detail. In 21st century, the society will be mature on the foundations of both technology and sensitivity and the fashion will have the tendency toward attaching importance to sensitivity and value with higher specialization. The changes of fashion environment in 2000 involve the changes of life style with the informationalized, in the influence of feminine valuation toward attaching importance to sensitivity, personalization, the speedy and globalization because of shortening of fashion cycle. I have a view of increase of functional fabrics lightening of material, high quality of material, variety of material use and tendency to preference for nature fabrics in prospecting fabric trend in 2000. In 2000, the fashion trends will accelerate the trend of the 1990’s extreme technology and sensitivity, and be faithful in rational and practical function. On the foundations of the characters of fabric in 1990 and prospect of fashion fabric in 2000, I creatively designed women’s wear for spring and summer 2000. I made out image map, then, selected color & fabric, and suggested fashion illustration and order sheet, and practically manufactured a work. Jersey with light grey of urban refinement completely expressing natural and comfortable shillouette was used.
