신축성소재 셔츠 블라우스의 여유량에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 최근 유행하는 신축성 소재 의복에 대해 20대 여성을 중심으로 착용시 불편사항을 파악하고 의류업체의 신축성 소재 사용현황을 조사 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 의복을 제작하여 신축성 소재 의복을 주로 구입하는 20대 여성들의 착용만족도를 높이는데 그 목적을 두었다. 신축성 소재 의복에 대한 설문조사 결과 20대 여성들이 선호하는 아이템은 상의는 티셔츠, 셔츠 블라우스 하의는 바지였다. 선호 아이템 대부분의 불편사항이 하의보다는 상의에서 많이 지적 되었으며 이는 대부분 둘레의 여유량이 부족하기 때문에 나타나는 현상이였다. 최근에는 니트보다 직물에 신축성을 부여한 소재를 사용하는 경우가 많기 때문에 상의중에서 셔츠 블라우스를 실험복으로 선택하였다. 따라서 신축성 소재 의복의 착용만족도를 높이기 위해서 업체의 신축성 소재 사용현황과 신축성 소재에 적용되어지는 여유량을 조사하였다. 조사한 여유량을 대, 중, 소로 나누어 실험복을 제작하였다. 착장 실험의 결과, 대체적으로 중간값을 여유량으로 적용한 셔츠 블라우스가 부위별 만족도와 전체적인 착용감에서 가장 높게 평가되었다. 업체의 중간값은 가슴둘레 2.5cm, 어깨너비 -1.3cm, 진동둘레 0.6cm, 상완둘레 2.5cm, 허리둘레 6.2cm이다. 그러나 업체들이 허리둘레는 다른 둘레부위보다 여유를 많이 부여하기 때문에 피험자와 검사자는 허리둘레의 여유가 적은것에 더 많은 만족을 나타냈다. 소비자들의 불편사항 중의 하나인 당겨져 올라가는 현상은 실험결과 둘레방향으로 신장되면 길이방향으로 줄어드는 경향이 나타나기는 하지만 줄어드는 길이는 그다지 크지 않으며 여유량이 무리하게 적은 경우에 생기는 현상으로 생각된다. 이상의 결과에서 각 업체에서 사용하는 셔츠 블라우스 소재는 Cotton/Spandex이며, 3～4%의 혼용율을 사용한다. 또한 각 부위에 적합한 여유량은 가슴둘레와 허리둘레, 상완둘레는 신체치수에 2.5cm, 어깨너비는 신체치수, 진동둘레에는 신체치수에 0.6cm를 더해 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 실험의 결과 소비자들의 착용시 불편사항에 대해 적정 여유량을 부여한 경우 착용시나 동작시 모두 만족하므로 업체에서는 신축성 소재의 여유량을 임의대로 사용하기 보다는 각 아이템, 소재에 따라 부위마다 적절한 여유를 적용한다면 소비자들의 착용만족도를 높이는데 큰 기여를 할 것으로 본다. ; Stretchable textile materials are getting more widely used in clothing industry. Among others, there are two obvious reasons which make it so desirable to young female customers, i.e. better comfort with motion and more closely fitted silhouette. But these two points cannot get along well always. If a manufacturer try hard to make his products too closely fit, then the products are even less comfortable than made of non-stretchable material. On the other hand, if a stretchable garment are developed to be too comfortable with plenty of size tolerance, it cannot attract customers who are looking for something closely fit. So the study was aimed to investigate appropriate size tolerances. We carried out surveys to women of her twenties about followings: What they know about stretchable fabric? Which items of stretchable clothing they like to wear ? Which kind of difficulties they have experienced with stretchable clothing? The results were as follows: They are very well informed about stretchable fabric and clothing. Preferred stretchable items were tee-shirts, shirts blouse and pants. Most significant difficulty they experienced was too closely fitted shape, which made the wearer very uncomfortable. From the survey, we could focus the study of size tolerance on female shirts blouse, which were mostly preferred item. We interviewed fabric manufac-turers and clothing manufacturers whose customers are female of their twenties. From the survey of stretchable fabric manufacturer, it was known that the mostly used material for shirts blouse in 1998 is Cotton with 3~4% of Spandex. Data about size tolerances were collected from the interview with clothing manufacturers. We categorized size tolerances into 3 groups, i.e. small, medium and large. Also we decided the test blouse design to be very typical shirts blouse. Altogether we made 15 test blouses, with 3 different size tolerances for 5 subjects respectively. The wearing test was graded by both objective panels and subjects themselves. The grading criteria were many aspects of appearance and comfort while subject were stand still and doing some motions. Considering the result, we suggest size tolerances for shirts blouse as follows: Bust girth, Waist girth, Upper Arm girth : +2.5cm Armhole girth : +0.625cm Shoulder width : nil
