보육교사의 보육실습에 대한 실태 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 우리나라 1년제 보육교사교육원의 보육실습 현황 및 실태를 알아보는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이와 같은 연구목적에 따라 다음과 같은 연구문제를 선정하였다. 1. 보육교사교육원의 보육실습 현황은 어떠한가? 2. 어린이집에서의 보육실습의 내용별 실태는 어떠한가? 2-1. 보육실습의 교육활동별 내용은 어떠한가? 2-2. 보육실습의 교사역할별 내용은 어떠한가? 2-3. 보육실습의 건강, 영양, 안전에 관한 내용은 어떠한가? 2-4. 보육실습의 평가는 어떠한가? 본 연구의 대상은 전국의 1년제 보육교사교육원 70개소 중에서 우리나라를 대표할 수 있는 지역인 서울과 부산 인천의 10개 기관을 무선 표집 하여 1999년도 현재 각 기관에 재학 중이며 어린이집에서 보육설습을 마친 예비보육교사 각 10명씩 100명이었다. 연구도구는 4년제 대학 유아교육과의 교육실습현황 연구를 위해 배소연, 윤기영, 조부경(1995 )이 작성한 질문지를 보육실습에 적합하도록 연구자가 수정 보완한 질문지이다. 연구방법은 질문지를 통한 조사법이다. 자료의 분석은 빈도와 백분율을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 보육교사교육원의 보육실습 현황 보육교사교육원에서 실시하고 있는 보육실습의 유형을 살펴보면 정규보육실습 위주이고, 사전·추후보육실습은 매우 미흡하게 이루어지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사전보육실습의 형태는 대부분 교구제작과 환경구성이다. 실습기관 선정기준은 통근거리에 따라 하였다. 실습생이 실습으로 인해 도움이 되었다고 인식한 내용은 강의 이외에 새로운 기술 습득을 할 수 있었다는 것이다. 정규보육실습의 시기 및 기관은 대부분 2학기(70.0%)에 4주(100%) 동안이고, 실습 전 오리엔테이션은 전체의 60%기관에서 교수에 의해 실시되고 있었다. 실습기관을 선정하는 주체는 학생스스로(50%) 그리고 교수가 선택해 주는(30%) 순이었다. 실습지도교수의 순회지도는 1회이고, 일부기관(20%)에서는 실시하지 않고 있었다. 추후보육실습은 주로 방학기간을 이용하여 실습생 스스로의 요구에 의해 이루어지고 있으며, 주로 실습을 한 어린이집의 다른 연령의 학급에서 정해진 요일이나 행사 때 보조교사 역할을 하고 있었다. 2. 보육실습의 내용별 실태 첫째, 어린이집에서의 보육실습은 교육활동 위주의 실습이 진행되고 있는 반면 건강, 영양, 안전에 관한 부분의 실습 내용은 매우 미흡하게 이루어지고 있었다. 둘째, 보육실습의 교사 역할별 내용은 프로그램 계획자로서의 역할이 가장 많았고, 연구, 부모교육 담당자로서의 역할은 거의 없었다. 셋째, 보육실습 기간 중의 평가는 대부분 지도교사에 의해 이루어지고 있었다. ; The purpose of this study is to inquire the present condition of pre-service practice of the caregiver by child care training center. The research questions for this study are as follows: 1. What is the present condition of pre-service practice in the child care training center? 2. What is the actual content state of pre-service practice in the child care center? 2-1. What is the content of pre-service practice by educational activity? 2-2. What is the content of pre-service practice by teacher s roles? 2-3. What is the content about health, nurture and safety of pre-service practice? 2-4 What is the evaluation of pre-service practice? The subject of study is 100 persons with each 10 precaregivers who are being in school and finished pre-service practice in child care center, collecting each 10 institution among caregiver training institution in the area of Seoul, and Pusan, and Incheon. The tool of study is the questionnaire based on the questionnaire made by C. Y. Bae, C. Y. Yun, and B. K. Cho(1995) for the present condition research on department of early childhood Education. The results of the study are summarized as follows: 1. The present condition of pre-service practice in the child care training center. By types of pre-service practice in child care training center, regular pre-service practice is main, the prior and follow-up pre-service practice is not enough. The types of the prior pre-service practice, most are making materials and environment-arrangement. The criterion of carecenter is commuting distance, the help of pre-service practice is to get the new skills in addition to lesson. The period of regular pre-sevice practice is almost 4 weeks(100%) for the second semester(70.0%). The prior orientation is practiced by professor among 60% of center. The collector of carecenter is the order of student(50%), professor(30%). The itineracy guidance of pre-service professor is one time, some carecenter have not practiced. The follow-up pre-service practice have been practiced by caregiver-self during vacation. They take a assistant teacher s role in another age s class of practiced carecenter on the day or event day. 2. The actual content state of pre-service practice First, The pre-service practice is mainly educational activities. But the content of health, nurture and safety is very insufficient. Second, The content of teacher roles is the roles as program planner, and is not the roles as investigator or educator of parents. Third, Most evaluation during pre-service practice is progressed by the nursing teacher.
