심리극이 통찰 및 부모지각의 변화에 미치는 효과와 그 과정분석 : 비행청소년을 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 심리극에서 주인공의 통찰반응을 중심으로 과정을 분석하고, 심리극이 비행청소년의 부모 및 가족지각의 변화에 미치는 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 심리극에서 주인공의 통찰반응을 가장 많이 촉진하는 심리극의 과정변인으로서 통찰반응과 부모 및 가족지각의 변화간의 관계, 그리고 통찰반응을 촉진하는 치료자의 언어반응을 파악하였다. 또한 심리극에서 주인공과 관객이 지각하는 주인공의 통찰 정도의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 제기한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 심리극 과정을 분석하기 위하여 우선 심리극에서 주인공의 유목별 언어반응을 촉진하는 치료자의 언어반응은 무엇이며, 특히 주인공의 통찰반응을 촉진하는 치료자의 언어반응은 무엇인가? 둘째, 심리극후 주인공이 주관적으로 지각하는 자신의 통찰 정도와 관객들이 지각하는 주인공의 통찰 정도 간에는 어떤 관계가 있을 것인가? 셋째, 심리극에서 주인공의 통찰반응량과 부모 및 가족에 대한 지각의 변화량은 상관관계가 있을 것인가? 넷째, 심리극을 통해 비행청소년의 부모 및 가족에 대한 지각이 긍정적, 수용적인 방향으로 변화될 것인가? 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구 문제 및 가설을 검증하기 위하여 비행청소년 20명을 대상으로 심리극을 실시하고 전과정을 비디오로 녹화하여 축어록으로 작성하였다. 그리고 치료자와 주인공의 언어반응 유목척도를 제작하여 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증한 후 심리극의 언어반응을 분석하였다. 또한 재구성한 부모 및 가족 지각 척도를 제작하여 요인분석으로 타당도를 검증한 후 심리극 시작 전·후에 집단원들의 부모 및 가족지각의 변화량을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 심리극에서는 치료자의 탐색반응이 주인공의 진행 및 기술, 요구/ 주장 및 희망, 긍정적 감정표현, 타인이해와 수용, 그리고 통찰반응을 가장 많이 촉진하였고, 주인공의 부정적 감정표현은 치료자의 부정적 감정표현에 의해 가장 많이 촉진되었다. 특히, 주인공의 통찰반응은 치료자의 탐색반응에 의해 가장 많이 유발되었으며 그 다음으로는 진행 및 지시, 부정적 감정표현의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 심리극 과정에서 주인공이 지각하는 통찰의 정도와 관객들이 본 주인공의 통찰의 정도 간에는 유의미한 정적 상관이 있었다. 다시말해, 주인공 스스로가 심리극을 통해서 얻었다고 느끼는 자신의 통찰 정도와 관객이 평가하는 그 주인공의 통찰 정도가 서로 일치했음을 뜻한다. 셋째, 각 주인공의 통찰반응량과 부모 및 가족 지각 척도에서의 변화량의 순위상관 분석을 실시한 결과, 통찰반응량과 지각 변화량 사이에 유의미한 정적 상관이 있었다. 즉, 심리극에서 통찰반응을 많이 한 주인공일수록 부모 및 가족지각이 더욱 긍정적, 수용적으로 변화하였다. 넷째, 심리극을 통한 집단원들의 부모 및 가족 지각의 변화를 분석한 결과, 심리극을 경험한 집단에서는 심리극 후에 부모 및 가족 지각이 더욱 긍정적, 수용적으로 변화하였다. 본 연구에서는 심리극을 통하여 청소년 비행의 대안으로서 효과적 접근법중 하나인 심리극의 효과를 입증하였고, 치료적 변인으로서 통찰의 실증적, 경험적 분석을 통해 그 중요성을 입증하고 치료의 효과와 연결시켰다. 따라서 본 연구는 심리극이 비행청소년 뿐만 아니라 일반 청소년들의 심리치료 및 바람직한 인성형성에 유의미한 가치가 있음을 입증하였고, 이러한 연구결과가 앞으로의 심리극 연구를 통한 청소년 치료의 발전에 기여하리라고 기대된다. ; The present study is to examine protagonist s insight and change of perception concerning parents in paychodrama. The research questions set up for this study are as follows : 1. What is counselor(director and auxiliary ego) s verbal response that induces protagonist s insight? 2. Is there positive correlation between protagonist s subjective views on her own degrees of insight and audience s objective views on the degrees of protagonist s insight? 3. Is there positive correlation between the degrees of protagonist s insight and the change of perception concerning their parents? 4. Does the psychodrama effect the positive changes of juvenile delinquents perception concerning their parents? A 3-day psychodrama was performed by twenty female juvenile delinquents, and video-taped sessions of ten protagonists were thoroughly analyzed for this study. The Scale of Perception concerning Parents and Family members was restructured based on factor analysis, and the Protagonist and Counselor s Verbal response System as well as the Insight Scale were developed and used for this particular study. The results of this study are summarized as follows : First, protagonist s insight was mostly induced by counselor s questions , directions , and negative emotional expressions . Second, there is a significant positive correlation between protagonist s subjective views on one s own degrees of insight and audience s objective views on the degrees of protagonists insight. In other words, the degrees of insight that the protagonist feels, and the degrees of insight that audience thinks the protagonist to feel were almost equal. Third, there is a significant positive correlation between the degrees of protagonist s insight and the change of perception concerning their parents. It means that the more they have insight, the more their perception concerning parents changes positively. Fourth, their perception concerning parents changed positively among the group members through all psychodrama sessions. The implications of this study show that the psychodrama is an effective approaching method as an alternative way to settle down the juvenile delinquents family relationships. Also, this study not only proves the importance of insight in psychodrama, but also the relationship between insight as a mediator variable and effects of psychodrama.
