부부간 성적갈등의 잠재성에 관한 연구 : 도시중산층 부부를 중심으로

Abstract

갈등이란 반대와 적개심에 의해 규정되는 두 사람의 상호순응으로, 둘 또는 그 이상의 목표를 가지고 있는 힘이 동일한 상태에 있을 때 발생한다. 정신분석학적으로는 서로 반대되는, 용납이 안되는 욕구, 충동, 소원, 외적 혹은 내적인 요구에 의해 야기되는 정신적 투쟁이다. 부부간의 갈등유형 가운데 특히 성적갈등은 부부관계에서만 볼 수 있는 독특한 갈등으로 서로간의 기대와 충족도에 의해 나타나는 양상이 다르며 결혼생활에 중요한 영향을 준다. 지금까지 사회과학 및 정신분석학에서 연구되어 온 갈등이론을 개관해 보면 갈등에 대한 내용이 매우 다양하며 한 가지로 갈등을 정의하기는 대단히 곤란하다. 저자는 부부간 성적갈등의 잠재성 규명과 요인에 대한 연구를 하기 위해 1984년 6월 20일부터 8월 10일까지 서울 시내 중산층 부부 653쌍을 대상으로 질문지 방법을 사용하여 다음과 같은 가설을 검토하였다. 1) 부부간에 잠재된 성적갈등이 있을 경우 남편보다 부인의 불만족도가 높게 나타날 것이다. 2) 부부간에 잠재된 성적갈등이 있을 경우 결혼생활 이전에 형성된 태도가 그 이후에 형성된 태도에 비해 보다 많은 영향력을 미칠 것이다. 이 연구에서 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 부부간 잠재된 성적갈등이 있을 경우 부인의 불만족도가 높게 나타났다. 2) 부부간에 잠재된 성적갈등에 가장 많은 영향력이 있다고 생각되는 요인은 연령, 형제서열, 부모님 생존, 부모선호도, 사춘기 성교육 경험, 사춘기 자위행위 경험, 결혼형태, 결혼전 교제기간, 배우자와의 혼전 성관계, 배우자의 혼전순결에 대한 믿음, 직업등으로 나왔는데 이 모든 요인들이 사춘기 이전의 경험과 태도에 관계되는 것으로서 가설을 입증할 수 있었다. 이 연구의 결과를 정신분석이론으로 고찰하므로써 정신분석이론의 일반화를 시도한 연구목적의 일부와 일치하는 결과를 얻었다. ; A.Conflict originates in various aspect but mainly originate in the human relation. Especially marrital relation is one of the fundamental bases of human relation and the character of the marrital relation is the sexual exclusion in addition to sexual relation in other way of human relation. Author has been interested in the factors which influence the sexual conflict of marrital relation and researched the latent sexual conflict of marrital relation by way of social field survey through questionnaire method from June 20th, 1984 to Aug. 10th, 1984(The Subjects: 653 couples of middle class people in Seoul). This study is researched and analyzed under the following hypotheses: 1. If the latent sexual conflict of marrital relation comes into existence, the unsatisfaction of wives will be shown in higher degree than that of husbands. 2. If the latent sexual conflict of marrital relation comes into existence, the attitude before marriage will be more influential to the sexual conflict than that after marriage. B. The results are as followings: 1. As to the satisfaction of marrital relation, the attitude about the importance of sexual life, and the anticipation about the sex before marriage which are the factors operating on the sexual life of marrital relation, the unsatisfaction of wives is shown in higher degree than that of husbands in the latent sexual conflict of marrital relation. 2. In case of the latent sexual conflict of marrital relation, the most influential factors are age, siviling order, survival of parents, preference of parents, experience of sexual education at the age of puberty, experience of masturbation at the ago of puberty, style of marriage, period of acquaintance before marriage, premarital sexual experience, trust on the purity of premarital sexual experience, and occupation. The most important factors among the said factors were the experience and the attitude before the ago of puberty. 3. The sexual conflict of marrital relation under the psychoanalysis comes from the childhood pattern, current problem, trnasference toward the spouse. Approaching to the core of dynamics, we arrive at the childhood pattern. The experience and the attitude before the ago of puberty which are shown as the most important factors of the latent sexual conflict of marrital relation correspond to the above mentioned psychoanalytic contents. C. This study will contribute to the fundamental materials by which the quantitative degree of latent conflict can be counted on the ground of the results that the latent conflict comes into existence as symptoms through the previous factors in case of high latent conflict of marrital relation.
