유기적 형태의 운동과 생명의 이미지 표현

Abstract

본 연구는 자연 속에서 발생하는 본질적이고 구체적인 생명활동 을 탐구함으로써 얻어진 생명의 이미지를 타원형태를 통해 작품에 반영하였다. 이러한 자연의 모습, 생명의 이미지를 타원의 결합으 로 나타난 유기적 형태로 조형화하였고, 생명의 특성을 생동성, 구 체성, 지속성, 신비성으로 보고 실제의 움직임을 통해 생명의 이미 지를 표현하였다. 본 연구에서는 유기적 형태에 실제의 운동을 도입하여 살아있는 생명의 이미지를 형상화하고, 움직임에 따른 형태의 변화와 반복운동을 조형적 요소로 표현하는 데 의의가 있다. 유기적 형태와, 공간과 양의 실제적인 변화를 통한 생명의 이미지 표현을 문제로 제기한다. 본 연구의 목적은 유기적 형태에 실제의 움직임을 결합함으로써 생명의 이미지를 형상화하고 생명력을 표현하는 데 있다. 본 연구의 기본도구는 문헌과 작품표현 및 작품분석이다. 표현 대상은 유기적 형태의 실제운동을 통한 변화와 반복의 조형적 효과와 생명의 이미지를 얻는 것이다. 표현 방법은 유기적 형태가 움직임으로써 나타나는 조형요소와 생명력을 표현하였고, 생명의 이미지를 표현하기 위해 유기적 형태 의 변화와 반복운동을 조형적 특성으로 표출하였다. 분석대상으로 제시된 작품은 7점으로 생동성, 구체성, 지속성, 신비성 등 생명의 특성과 유기적 형태의 움직임에 의한 변화와 운동의 관점에서 분석하였다. 유기적 형태에 실제의 운동을 도입함으로써 생명의 이미지를 형상화하고 생동성, 구체성, 지속성과 신비성 등의 생명의 특성을 시각을 통하여 표현한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유기적 형태의 실제적 움직임으로 생명의 순환하는 생성, 성장, 소멸의 지속성과 생동성을 표현하였다. 둘째, 실제 운동으로 실제적인 양의 변화와 형태의 변화가 이루어지고, 작품이 현실에 존재하는 현존성과 현재의 시간을 공유하게 되어 구체성을 획득하였다. 셋째, 유기적 형태의 다양한 움직임에 따라 방향성과 속도감, 역동성을 느낄 수 있다. 넷째, 살아 숨쉬는 듯한 움직임을 표현하기 위해 공기의 주입이 빠르지 않고 인간의 호흡과 비례할 수 있는 자연스러운 간격을 주었다. 또한 반복되는 운동시마다 예측할 수 없는 형태의 미세한 변화가 발생하여 기계적 운동을 통해 생명유지를 위한 필연적이고 자율적인 움직임으로 심미적 변화를 가져온다. 다섯째, 천, 라텍스, 털 등 부드러운 재료의 사용으로 공기의 주입시 바닥면과의 접점이 최소화되는 부유하는 듯한 무중력의 느낌을 통한 생명체의 가벼움과, 반투명한 표면은 생명체의 신비성을 나타내었다. 여섯째, 투명하고 부드러운 생명체의 느낌을 강조하기 위해 불투명하고 단단한 느낌의 재료인 시멘트와 석고를 사용하여 부드러운 재료의 운동을 통한 대비효과를 주었고, 또한 이질감을 없애기 위해 부드럽고 매끄러운 표면처리를 하였다. 일곱째, 오팔지의 사용으로 빛과 형태의 변화에 따라 다양한 색의 변화와 빛의 반사가 이루어져 생명 내부의 역동성과 신비성을 표현하였다. 여덟째, 생명의 이미지로써 채택한 유기적 형태의 움직임을 통해 생명력과 변화와 반복의 조형적 특성을 표현하였다.;This study reflects the image of life acquired by exploring essential and specific life activities generated in nature through an oval shape. These features of nature and the image of life are modeled as organic form represented with the combination of oval shape, and the image of life is expressed through actual movement taking the characteristics of life as vitality, concreteness, continuity and mystery. This study lies in presenting the image of life by applying form to organic form, and expressing the change of shape and repeating movement following movement. The expression of life image through organic form and the actual change of space and amount is raised as an issue. The purpose of this study is to represent the image of life and express vitality by combining organic form and actual movement. Basic tools for this study are literature study, work expression and analysis. The object of expression is the modeling effect of change and repetition through the actual movement of organic form to acquire the image of life. As rexpression method, modeling elements presented by the movement of organic form an vitality are expressed, and the change and repeating movement of organic form are presented as modeling characteristics for expressing the image of life. The subject of analysis - 7 works of art - are analyzed in the aspect of vitality, concreteness, continuity and mystery, and the results are as follows. First, the continuity cycling creation, growth, extinction, and vitality of life are expressed with the actual movement of organic form. Second, actual movement changes actual amount and shape, and acquires concreteness by sharing existence and the present time. Third, the various movement of organic form gives direction, speed, and dynamics. Fourth, the injection of air for the expression of vivid movement gives natural gap that can be in proportion with human breathing. Also repeating movement generates delicate change in unexpected form, and it brings aesthetic change with essential and autonomous movement for maintaining life through mechanic movement. Fifth, the use of soft material such as cloth, latex and fur expresses the mystery of life with semi-transparent expression and the lightness of life through the feeling of no gravity. Sixty, to emphasize the feeling of transparent and soft life, the use of hard material such as cement and plaster gives contrasting effect through the movement of soft material, and the surface is treated soft and smooth to remove strange feeling. Seventh, the use of opal expresses the mystery and dynamics of life inside by making the reflection of light according to the change of light and form. Eighth, the movement of organic form selected as the image of life expresses the characteristics of modeling of vitality, change and repetition.
