부부목회를 통한 목회자 부인의 역할갈등 해소방안에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 목회자부인들의 역할 갈등에 대해 다각도로 분석하고 그 대안으로 부부목회를 제시하고자 하였다. 목회자부인들의 역할에 대한 갈등이 어디에서부터 비롯된 것인지 고찰하고 사례를 통한 목회자부인들의 갈등 양상을 살펴보았다. 몇몇 교단을 제외하고는 여전히 여성에게는 목사안수제도가 허용되지 않고 있는 교회 내의 성차별의 구조는 여러 가지 형태로 목회자부인을 억압하며 고통을 주고 있다. 이러한 교회 안에서의 성차별의 문화는 교육과 행정, 그리고 역할에 있어서의 철저한 남녀 분리를 유발했고, 남녀의 동역관계가 이루어지지 못한 채 교회는 불구의 모습을 띄게 되었다. 이러한 모습의 교회는 목회자부인들에게도 부정적인 영향으로 작용하였다. 목회자부인이 건강하게 교회에서의 역할을 감당할 때 교회나 교회의 구성원들 역시 건강해질 것이고 바람직한 모습으로 성장하게 될 것이다. 본 논문을 위하여 많은 목회자부인들을 만나서 대화하는 가운데 미래목회에 대해 긍정적인 변화의 가능성을 감지할 수 있었다. 그들은 기존의 전통적인 '사모상'을 벗어나 목회자부인의 지도자적인 역할을 인식하기 시작했으며 그러기 위해서는 목회자부인들 스스로가 각성하고 철저한 훈련과 준비를 해야한다는 점에 동의하였다. 부부목회의 사례를 조사하면서 부부목회가 한 가지 패턴으로만 가능하지 않음을 발견했다. 사례 조사의 어려움 속에서 구세군의 사례와 부부목회자 세 쌍의 사례를 조사하고 제시하였다. 목회자부인의 역할 갈등은 소모적이며 교회의 발전을 저해하는 요소로 작용한다. 이것에 대한 근본적 대안이 부부목회의 패러다임이 될 수 있음을 본 논문에서 제안하고 분석하고자 하였다. 여기서 제안하는 부부목회는 목회자부인의 역할 갈등 해소에 크게 기여하리라고 생각한다.;This study attempts to analyze the role troubles of pastors' wives from various angles and to suggest the couple pastorate as the solution. In addition, this study considered what the role troubles of pastors' wives result from and examined aspects of their troubles through the related cases. Except a few orders, the structural sexism within the church, which doesn't still permit women to have their ordinations, has restrained and caused pain to pastors' wives in many ways. Such cultures of sexism in the church have caused clear male-female separation in education, administration and several roles, and consequently, the church with differentiated roles between males and females has been deformed. This aspect of the church has affected adversely pastors' wives as well. Only when pastors' wives can play appropriate roles healthfully, the church and the members will also advance toward the healthful and desired direction. While meeting many pastors' wives and conversing with them for preparing this study, I could become aware of possibilities of positive changes for future pastorate. In order to do so, they began to free themselves from the traditional model of 'pastors' wives', recognize their roles as leaders and agreed that they should open their eyes for themselves and carry out complete training and preparation. Researches into cases of the couple pastorate showed the couple pastorate cannot be maintained just in one pattern. In spite of difficulties of the case study, cases including the Salvation Army and the three couples of pastors were examined and suggested. The role troubles of pastors' wives are an exhaustive and obstructive factor to development of churches. This study attempted to suggest and analyze that an alternative to it must be a paradigm of the couple pastorate. It is expected that the couple pastorate suggested in this study will greatly contribute to solving role troubles of pastors' wives.
