Oboe Reed Making이 G. Ph. Telemann Fantasien No.5의 연주에 미치는 영향

Abstract

오보에(Oboe)는 두 겹의 리드(Reed)로 만들어진 발성체를 가진 악기로서 아주 오랜 옛날 유럽과 아시아에서 유래되었다. 특수악기로 알려져 온 Oboe는 현재 독주악기로서 뿐만 아니라 중주, 합주에서 빼놓을 수 없는 악기로 성장되었다. 연주자가 훌륭한 연주를 하기 위해서는 악기에 대한 정확한 이해와 특성을 파악하고 고도의 테크닉을 구사하기 위한 정교한 악기를 소유하는 것이 필수적일 것이다. 특히, Oboe는 좋은 악기와 더불어 좋은 Reed가 필수적인데 앞에 열거한 조건들이 다 갖추어져 있다 할지라도 좋은 Reed가 갖추어져 있지 않다면 훌륭한 연주를 기대할 수 없다. 그런데, Reed는 한번 만들어서 영구적이지 못하고 계절과 기후, 연주자의 신체조건, 입모양, 호흡, 연주하는 장소의 울림상태 등에 따라 Reed의 상태가 달라지기 때문에 수시로 Reed 제작을 해야 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 필자가 그동안 연주활동을 통해 얻은 연주경험과 국내는 물론 외국에서 출판된 서적을 통해 Reed Making에 관해 논리적으로 정립시키고 Oboe작품 중, G. Ph. Telemann의 Zwoelf Fantasien No.5를 분석, 고찰하여 Reed Making과의 관련을 연구하고자 한다.;As Oboe is on instrument with sound producer made in double reed it originates from Europe and Asia along time ago. The Oboe, which has been known as a special instrument, is currently developed as an important instrument for duet and ensemble as well as solo. In order to play instrument in excellent regardless of any instrument, it's important to understand the features and properties of instrument and arrange excellent instrument together with high technique. Especially, in case of oboe, excellent reed together with excellent instrument is essential, thus cannot expect wonderful play if don't have excellent reed although all above mentioned conditions are arranged. Reed is not permanent and its shape or thickness may be changed according to season, weather, performent's physical condition, embouchure, and breathing, etc., accordingly shall make reed frequently. Therefore, this study is to theorize logically on reed making based on my experiences related with performance up to now and literatures published from not only home but also overseas, and to research a relation of reed making with Zwoelf Fantasien No. 5 by G. Ph. Telemann among many oboe music by analyzing and considering the music.
