Theobald Boehm의 Grande Polonaise op.16에 대한 연구 및 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 Theobald Boehm(1794_1881)의 「Grande Polonaise op.16」을 연구 및 분석한 것으로 이에 앞서서 Boehm의 생애와 그가 개발한 기계적이고 정밀한 Boehm System Fluet에 대해서 살펴보았다. Boehm이 개발한 Flute은 새로운 운지법을 통해 정확한 반음계적 음정 연주와 깨끗한 음의 하모니를 연주할 수 있게 되는 등 악기의 음계와 음량을 증대 시켜 기술과 음악적으로 비약적인 발전을 가져오는 계기를 마련하였다. 「Grande Polonaise op.16」에서 보여지는 Flute의 화려한 기교는 그가 개발한 Flute이 있었기에 가능한 것이었다. 단악장으로 된 T. Boehm의 「Grande Polonaise op.16」은 서주부와 종결구를 가진 3부분 형식의 곡으로 Polonaise가 갖는 rhythm적 특징들이 잘 구성되어 있는 작품이다. 이 곳은 근천조 내의 조성관계를 가지며 동형진행, 반복기법,음정의 연결구 등 화려하고 기교적인 표현이 강조된 작품이다. 본 논문에서는 「Grande Polonaise op.16」의 형식, rhythm, 화성, 선율 등 음악적인 요소를 분석하여 악곡 해석과 연주에 도움이 되고자 하는 것을 목적으로 한다.;This dissertation researches and analyzes Theobald Boehm's 「Grande Polonaise op.16」.Before the analysis, the life of Theobald Boehm (1794~1881) and the Boehm's Flute which he improved are discussed. On conical-bore instrument, the 'come- Boehm' or'ring-Boehm's Flute, the tone were newly placed to improve the tuning and a system of interlinking keys with ring touchpices was employed to enable the player to open or close the 14 tone holes. Boehm's Flute was casy to play by the evelopment of"tone hole"and most of all accurate chromatic scale came possible. Boehm also developed prototype oboe and bassoon tubes. Boehm's Flute is generally made of silver, though older instruments were lf wood, and gold is occasionally used. 「Grande Polonaise op. 16」is one movement work made of three section-form and is composed of temary ABA'form with introduction and coda. Ascending and descending melody of stepwise motion sepuential progression, consonant skips, regular phrasing, exchange of voices, pedal point, parallel motion of melody, octave doubling, chromatic figuring in bridge passages, and arpeggios are used continually. In this way, brilliant and artful expression was emphasized.
