ICT활용 음악교육 석사학위논문의 연구동향 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 ICT라는 용어가 등장하기 시작한 2001년부터 2010년 2월까지 10년간 연구된 ICT 활용 음악교육에 대한 석사학위논문들을 중심으로 ICT활용 음악교육이 어떻게 진행되어 왔는지 파악하고 선행연구물에 대한 정보를 제공하여 ICT활용 음악교육에 관한 논제선정과 앞으로 나아가야 할 방향설정에 도움을 주고자 함에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 2001년부터 2010년 2월까지의 ICT활용 음악교육 관련 석사학위 논문을 국회전자도서관과 KERIS 학술연구정보서비스에서 검색하였고, 수집된 241편에 대하여 외형적으로는 ICT활용매체 유형별, 연도별로 분류하였고, 내용적으로는 음악과 내용체계 별, 대상 별로 분류하였고 그 결과를 백분율과 표, 그림으로 나타내어 비교•분석 하였다. ICT 활용매체 유형별 분석에서는 ICT 유형이 가장 많은 연구가 이루어졌으며 멀티미디어 유형, 인터넷(WBI)유형, 코스 웨어 유형, 응용소프트웨어 유형 순으로 나타났다. 또한 인터넷(WBI)유형으로 시, 공간의 제약 없이 개별적, 수준별로 학습이 가능한 e-Learning에 관한 연구가 증가 하는 모습을 보였다. 연도별 분석에서는 2001년부터 논문의 수가 급격히 늘어 2003년에 가장 많은 논문이 등재되어 연구가 가장 활발하게 이루어졌음을 알 수 있다. 2003년 이후로도 ICT활용 음악교육 논문은 평균 23편으로 꾸준한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 또한 2005년을 기점으로 통합적인 ICT 활용에 대한 연구에 대한 비중이 늘어나는 모습을 보여 어느 한 매체를 이용하는 것이 아닌, 통합적인 활용을 중시하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 음악과 내용체계 별 분석에서는 교수법 및 적용 영역이 가장 많았고, 감상영역, 창작영역, 국악영역, 기타영역, 통합영역과 이해영역, 기악영역, 가창영역, 평가영역 순으로 분석 되었다. 교수법 및 적용에 관한 논문에 비해 평가 영역은 앞으로 더 많은 참신한 연구를 필요로 한다. 대상 별 분석에서는 중학교를 대상으로 한 논문이 가장 많았고, 다음으로 초등학교, 고등학교, 통합적으로 다룬 논문, 유아 대상 논문, 대학교 및 대학원을 대상으로 한 논문 순으로 나타났다. 유아를 대상으로 한 ICT활용 음악수업 연구는 앞으로 많은 연구가 필요하다. 이처럼 ICT활용 음악교육 논문은 2001년 이후 ICT 활용 음악수업에 관한 연구자들의 높은 관심으로 해마다 꾸준히 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 하나의 매체가 아닌 여러 매체를 통합적으로 사용하는 통합 ICT 활용 연구가 증가하였으며, 시대 변화에 따른 e-Learning 학습에 대한 관심도 증가하는 모습을 보인다. 그러나 유아를 대상으로 한 연구와 평가에 관한 연구는 더 많은 연구를 필요로 하며, 교수법에 관한 연구도 좀 더 창의적인 내용을 필요로 한다. 앞으로 ICT활용 음악교육이 다양하게 연구되어, 음악의 역할과 그 중요성을 더욱 확대시키고 다양한 교육 방법을 제시하여 음악교육을 발전시킬 수 있기를 기대한다.;The purpose of this study was to comprehend how the researches on ICT(Information Communication Technology) applied music teaching have been carried by studying mostly the thesis of music teaching for 10 years from, 2001 to 2010 and to help with setting topics for and goals for further study concerning with the ICT applied music teaching. For this purpose, 241 pieces of master's thesis regarding the ICT applied music teaching that were written from 2001 to Feb, 2010 were analyzed by its appearance and contents and the result obtained from the analysis is expressed in percentage, charts and drawings for compare and further analysis. Most of all, most studied carried out in the ICT applied media analysis were focused on types of ICT and the study about the internet type (WBI) e-learning that helped mankind possible to study personally according to levels regardless of time or place showed the rapid growth and with this fact, an active increasing of the study in this field is expected the study on this area is expected for. In the analysis operated on a yearly base, the amount of thesis showed the rapid growth since 2001 and the largest number of thesis were recorded in 2003. Since then, the research has been continually carried out and since 2005, the importance on the study of a comprehensive ICT adaption became more significant, presenting the trend of emphasizing the integrated practice rather than the use of a certain media. The analysis showed that in the area of music class content systems, most of the studies were focused on the studies on teaching method and its application but showed the need for creative contents and in the analysis on evaluation area, the research on the ICT applied accomplishment assessment was proved the demand for more up-to-date research. In the analysis on targets, mostly the thesis were targeted at middle school students and the study on teaching toddlers using the ICT applied music teaching method showed to be poor, proved the unavoidable necessity of the study on teaching toddlers. My suggestion for music teaching is stated below. First, the study on ICT adaption targeted at toddlers should be more actively carried out. The study about the effect, the usefulness of ICT application and about the effective and efficient methods of teaching and learning must be followed. Secondly, I suggest to study on contents for music teaching. It is an era of learning everywhere and anytime with the development of the information communication technology is considered to be the most indispensible media in one's life in consideration of the fact that there are some schools providing smart phones to every student. In addition, the contents development for diverse ways of music teaching to fulfill the teaching goals the most not only in the classroom but also in the outside of the classroom and according to its teaching targets and levels are required. I expect the music education to be more developed with various ideas suggested regarding the teaching and the roles of music and its importance will have more significant meaning when the various studies on ICT applied music teaching are accomplished.
