L.v. Beethoven Violin Sonata No.8, Op. 30-3에 대한 연구 분석

Abstract

베토벤이 살았던 18세기 후반은 프랑스 혁명과 산업혁명 등으로 역사상 혁명적인 시기였고 당시에 지배적인 사상은 계몽주의였다. 그러한 사회적 배경을 바탕으로 개인의 권리를 주장하고 개인의 감정을 존중하고자 하는 생각들이 나타나게 되면서 예술과 학문, 과학, 철학 등은 일반 대중들에게까지 영향을 주게 되었다. 이러한 시대적 배경은 베토벤에게 큰 영향을 끼쳤고 그의 작품 속에서 그대로 나타난다. 이 시기에 Vienna를 중심으로 활동했던 고전시대의 대가들은 관현악을 확립시키고, 교향곡과 더불어 독주악기와 피아노를 위한 소나타를 그들의 음악적 사고와 음향의 새로운 세계를 창조하기 위한 중요한 수단으로 선택하여 작곡 되어졌다.;For the subject of my thesis, I would like to analyze about L.v. Beethoven’s (1770-1827) Violin Sonata No.8, op.30, no.3, which is one of his masterpieces in the classic music history. During the 18th century, classical music period, Ludwig Van Beethoven (1770-1827) with F. Haydn (1732-1809) and W.A. Mozart (1756-1791) is considered as one of the master musicians and he established very creative and developed musical style in his classical formation beyond previous traditional musical style. Especially, 10 pieces of Sonata for Violin and Piano by L.V. Beethoven through his entire music life contribute to the completion classical music formation based on Haydn and Mozart’s sonata. Therefore, he contributes to open up the door to romantic music which is turned to romanticism from classical period. That’s why his music is an important lead to study about historical music development. Among 10 pieces, Op. 12-Op.30 which is consisted of 8 pieces was composed during 1798 to 1802. Among his masterpieces, he focused on chamber music for 10 pieces of violin and piano sonata. He composed his pieces with classical style influenced from Haydn and Mozart. Yet, he had created his own musical style in his music world till 1812. Finally, he could complete violin sonata in his own completion with his creativity. During the period, 1802, it is called as emulation period in terms of period division in his works. At this period, there is one of masterpieces which are the first with using classical style. That is Beethoven Violin Sonata No.8, Op.30, and No.3. it is traditional and general formation as previous classical style, but within these style, he tried to describe his own special boldness and harmonic transition. Therefore, this piece would represent well his characteristic, twofold, and advanced style beyond classical music form before. During at this period, these 3 pieces which are Op.30 are definitely compared with previous composed sonata. At this thesis, I would comprehend his works through his musical period in historical background. Then, I would like to more focus on analysis of his violin sonata with particular contemplation about Op.30, No.3. I strongly believe that these interpretation and analysis would contribute to performance in real music world today.
