해체주의 건축의 조형성을 응용한 패션디자인 연구

Abstract

해체주의는 구조주의 한계를 극복하고자 등장한 닫힌 세계를 거부하고 열린 세계를 추구하는 데리다 이론이다. 정형적 질서를 강요하는 기존의 경향을 현실성이 없는 가식의 세계라고 비판하면서 시작된 일종의 반 문명 양식운동이다. 해체주의는1960대 이후 논의되기 시작하여 현재까지도 회화, 건축, 패션 등 여러 분야에 있어 강렬한 힘을 발휘하고 있는 문화 이론이다. 건축과 패션은 인간을 대상으로 하는 미적 조형 활동이란 관점에서 연계성을 가진다. 또한 인간이 만들어 낸 인위적인 예술이지만 현실을 떠나 존재할 수 없고 그 시대의 생활문화와 정신을 잘 나타내는 수단 중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 건축디자인과 패션디자인에 반영된 해체적 성향을 알아본 후 건축과 패션 디자인의 유사성에 근거하여 동시대적 상황에 나타난 해체주의 건축과 패션의 해체주의 개념을 정립하고 해체주의 건축의 조형적 특성을 분석하여 패션 디자인의 표현 모티브로서 활용하고자 함에 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 프랭크 게리의 해체적 건축의 조형성을 분석 연구하여 패션에 있어서 건축적 해체주의의 접목과 그 표현 가능성을 제시하고자 함에 목적이 있는 것이다. 본 연구의 방법 및 내용으로는 문헌고찰을 통한 자료를 바탕으로 제2장, 이론적 배경에서는 첫째로 해체주의 건축에 관한 고찰을 한다. 해체주의 건축에 관한 고찰로는 해체주의 건축의 개념 및 등장배경을 알아보고 해체주의 건축과 작가에 대한 조사와 분석하였다. 또한 프랭크 게리 건축의 특징과 프랭크 게리의 해체주의 건축의 조형성을 조사하여 제시하였다. 둘째로는 해체주의 패션 디자인에 대한 고찰로 해체주의 패션의 발생과 전개와 해체주의 패션 디자인의 유형 및 특징을 조사 분석 하였다. 또한 해체주의 경향의 현대 패션디자인의 사례분석을 하였다. 이를 토대로 본 연구에서는 정형화 된 건축 보다는 비정형적, 매스파편화, 탈구 성, 탈 중력, 중첩 성,미완성, 전위, 이접적 표현, 미완성, 등의 해체주의 건축의 조형성과 특성을 패션디자인에 응용 하여 총 8점의 작품을 제작 하였다. 해체주의 건축의 조형적 특성을 응용한 패션디자인에 관한 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째. 해체주의 건축에 나타나는 독특한 형태미는 패션디자인의 풍부한 표현 모티브가 됨을 확인 할 수 있었다. 둘째. 해체주의 건축의 조형성, 즉(비정형성, 매스의 파편화, 탈구 성, 탈구 성 전위, 이접적 표현, 미완성, 중첩 성을 패션에 있어서 다양하고 독특한 형태요소를 제공해 줌으로서 패션디자인의 표현 영역을 확대시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째. 해체적 특징의 하나인 이질적 소재의 사용은 유사 색의 저 채도 색조로 색채 조정한 결과 통일된 조화로움과 고급스러움을 표출 시킬 수 있었다. 넷째. 프랭크 게리의 해체적 특징 중 매스의 파편화의 응용(각 쉘의분해)과 이접적 표현을 옷의 패턴의 해체와 위치, 방향의 치환을 통해 재구성 함으로 서 패션디자인의 다르게 보이기 효과(자유로운 형태창출)로의 응용이 가능함을 제시해 주었다. 다섯째. 프랭크 게리 작품의 미완성적 특징을 옷의 안감과 겉감을 구분 없이 사용하고 스티치 선을 노출하고 원단의 마감처리를 하지 않음으로써 열린 사고를 통해 패션디자인의 탈 구성적인 효과와 자유로운 형태를 창출 할 수 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 여섯째. 프랭크 게리의 중첩성의 특징과 비정형성을 기본형의 머슬린에 주름을 잡아 비틀림, 변형으로 만들어진 구조물을 자유롭게 얹어서 만들어진 형태를 통하여 프랭크 게리의 우연성과 연감의 창조적 디자인 개념을 패션디자인에서 표현 할 수 있었다. 이러한 결론을 통해 건축과 패션의 연계성이라는 일반적인 특징을 바탕으로 해체주의 건축의 형태적 특징을 패션디자인으로 재해석이 가능함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 대표적인 해체주의 건축가들 중 본 연구의 연구대상인 프랭크 게리의 해체주의 건축의 조형적인 요소를 패션에 다양한 접근과 기법을 통해 독창적인 디자인으로 제시 할 수 있음을 보여 주었다.;Deconstruction is a theory which rejects the closed world for getting over structuralism limitation and pursues the opened world.
