Ludwig van Beethoven의 Violin Sonata No.8, in G Major Op.30에 관한 연구

Abstract

우리가 고전파 음악이라면 하이든, 모차르트, 베토벤 3인의 거두를 말하게 된다. 이 시대의 음악의 형식은 소나타 형식과 교향곡, 그리고 기악에 초점을 두고 있다. 고전파 음악의 대표적 작곡가인 동시에 낭만파 음악의 선구자로 꼽히는 Ludwig van Beethoven(1770-1829)은 그의 생애를 통해 10곡의 Violin Sonata를 남겼다. 그의 음악은 대체로 3개의 시대로 나뉘는데, Op.12~Op.30 까지의 8개 작품은 Beethoven의 작품시기 구분상 제 1기(1798~1802), 즉 모방시기에 해당된다. 본 논문에서는 1801년에 시작하여 1802년에 완성 된 3개의 Violin Sonata중 3번째 작품인 Violin Sonata No.8, Op.30, No.3 G 장조를 연구하였다. 이 작품은 3악장 구성으로 제 1악장은 전형적인 Sonata 형식, 제 2악장은 제 1주제와 제 2주제가 대조적인 리듬과 선율을 갖고, 중간부가 축소되면서 불규칙 구조를 갖는 3부 형식, 제 3악장은 빠른 템포로 구성된 론 도 형식이다. 게다가 대위법적인 구조가 일반화 되어 성부 간의 교차가 많이 나타나며 Violin과 Piano가 대등하게 취급되었다. 이 전에 쓰여 진 다른 Beethoven Violin Sonata에 비해 Violin 선율이 더욱 화려해지고 음역이 확대되는 등 성숙된 기법으로 쓰여 진 것이 특징이다. 본 논문에서는 Beethoven Violin Sonata No.8, Op. 30, No.3의 분석을 통하여 그의 전반적 음악세계의 구조에 대한 이해를 도모하고자 한다.;Ludwig van Beethoven(1770-1827) is considered as one of the most influential and the greatest figures in the history of European classical music. He also suggested a turning point between classicism in the last 18th century and romanticism in the 19th century as the role of bridge. He represented the Classical music and the Romantic music by composing 10 Violin Sonatas throughout his life. His musical can be output divided into three periods; a formative period that extends to 1802 (the 1st period), a middle period from 1803 to 1812 (the 2nd period), a mature period from 1813 to 1827(the 3rd period). In this thesis, I will discuss Beethoven Violin Sonata No.8, OP.30 that he composed in the formative period. This piece is composed of three movements; the first movement shows a typical sonata form, the second movement shows Ternary form has irregular structures with the shortened recapitulation, and the third movement is Rondo form. A distinctive feature of this sonata is that part of violin and piano have equal allocations. This study aims at analyzing Beethoven's Violin Sonata No.8, Op.30, No.3 with respect to overall structure forms and his general musical world.
