목회자 자녀의 자기탐색을 위한 노래심리치료의 경험연구

Abstract

오늘날에는 수많은 교회들이 존재한다. 그 안에서 여러 성도들과 살고 있는 목회자 자녀들은 그들이 처한 특수한 환경으로 인해 진정한 자기로 살아가는 데 위협받고 있다. 특히, 이들의 어려움들은 다양한 연구들을 통해서도 확인할 수 있지만, 이들을 돕기 위한 실제적인 프로그램은 그 수가 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 목회자 자녀에게 노래심리치료를 제공함으로써 이들이 자기를 탐색하는 경험을 심층적으로 살펴보는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 목회자 자녀인 20대 여성 3명을 대상으로 E대학의 음악치료 클리닉 에서 총 15회기의 노래심리치료를 제공하였다. 제공된 프로그램은 자기탐색을 목적으로 진행되었으며 심리적 필요를 파악하기 위한 도입단계와, 자신의 욕구 및 환경 인식 그리고 정리 및 마무리인 총 3단계로 진행되었다. 본 연구에서는 대상자들의 자기탐색 과정을 심도 있게 관찰하고 이해하기 위해 현상학적 방법을 사용하였다. 특히, 대상자들의 공통적인 특성을 발견하고 이해하기 위해 Colaizzi의 분석방법을 사용하여 결과를 도출하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 164개의 의미 있는 진술들이 선별되었고, 34개의 주제와 10개의 주제군, 3개의 범주가 도출 되었다. 이를 분석한 결과 첫째, 대상자들은 노래심리 치료 안에서 자기를 탐색하는 동안 주변 환경의 모습을 인식하였다. 대상자들이 발견한 모습들은 엄마에게 많은 영향을 받음, 아빠와의 친밀감 부족, 과도한 기대와 고정관념을 받음, 부모의 목회에 동일한 책임을 지게 됨으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기탐색의 과정 동안 주변 환경에 대한 감정 및 반응들을 발견하게 되었다. 이를 통해 발견된 내용들은 엄마와 동일시됨, 아빠에 대한 양가감정, 주변의 요구들로 인한 심리적 부담, 목회자인 부모와 동일시 됨으로 인한 스트레스의 경험으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자기탐색의 과정을 통해 대상자들은 환경으로 인해 형성된 개인 내적 모습을 발견하게 되었다. 이에 발견된 모습들은 타인을 의식하게 됨, 자기개방의 어려움을 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 이상의 결과를 통해 목회자 자녀들의 자기탐색의 경험을 심층적으로 이해할 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 본 연구의 결과는 목회자 자녀가 경험한 현상에 대한 구체적인 이해를 도우며, 목회자 자녀들의 자기탐색을 위한 음악치료 기법의 적용 및 개발 시 기초적인 자료로 활용될 수 있음을 기대해볼 수 있다.;Today, a lot of churches exist. Many members of the church and the children of ministers live in there and they are threatened because of the particular environment they encounter. Especially, their difficulties may be seen by various research but the number of practical programs that help them is inadequate. As such, the purpose of the present study was to look deeply into the experience of self-exploration by providing song psychotherapy to the children of ministers, the participants. For this, three women, who were children of ministers and who were in their twenties, were provided with fifteen sessions of song psychotherapy at the Music Therapy Clinic of E University. The purpose of the program was self-exploration and three stages all in all, which were the introduction stage that was for the understanding of psychological needs, the recognition of needs of self and environment, and wrap-up and completion, were proceeded. The present study used phenomenological research method in order to observe and understand the self-exploring process of the participants in depth. Especially, the result was derived from the Colaizzi's analyzation method to find out and understand the common traits of the participants. Therefore, the present research found 164 meaning units, 38 themes and 14 theme groups, and 3 categorizations. As the result, first, the participants recognized the features of environment while exploring themselves in song psychotherapy. The features they found in themselves were that they were affected by mother, lacked intimacy with father, got much expectation and bias, had the same responsibility that the minister parents had. Second, the participants found their affects and reactions about surrounding environments during the self-exploring process. The features were that they identified themselves with mother, had ambivalent feeling toward father, felt psychological burden towards the demands of others, and experienced stress by identifying themselves with minister parents. Third, through the self-exploring process, the participants found intrapersonal condition that was formed by their surrounding environment. They found that they were conscious towards others and having difficulty in self-exposure. Therefore, through the abovementioned result, the experience of self-exploring process of the children of ministers could be deeply understood. With this as the basis, the result of the present study helps understand the phenomenon that the children of ministers experienced, and it may be utilized as the groundwork in the application and development of music therapy method for the self-exploration of the children of ministers.
