가족여가로서 골프체험내용 탐구

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore motivations and various factors through golf as family leisure experiences. In order to accomplish the goal of the study above, the present study developed the following research questions of the study: 1) What are the motivations of the golf participation as family leisure? 2) What are the golf experiences as family leisure? 3) What are the constraints of the golf participation as family leisure? A total of 14 participants were selected by purposeful sampling. Using 'phenomenological approach', the data were collected by in-depth interviews (personal and group-wise), participatory observation and analysis of contents(described experiences, self-introduction, relevant literature, interview memos, etc.). In addition, as data analysis methods to identify experience of the participants in a concrete way, inductive categorical analysis and conceptualization were used. The long-term observation, conform to researcher and professional advice were used for the reliability and validity. The results were conducted by triangulation for the truth and reliability. Within limitation, the researcher concluded the followings: First, starting motivations of golf participants as family leisure were people's influence, family customs, the influence of surroundings while motivations for continued participation were interaction with family members and encouragement. Second, satisfactions of golf participants as family leisure were physical, emotional, social satisfaction. Third, constraints of golf participants as family leisure were identified; economical, time manner, environmental and personal.;본 연구에서는 가족여가로서 골프 참여자의 참여 동기와 제약, 이들의 체험내용을 통하여 경험하게 되는 다양한 만족 요인을 파악하고자 한다. 궁극적으로 가족여가로서 골프 활성화의 도모를 위한 골프의 순기능을 밝히고자 한다. 이와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해서 첫째, 가족 여가로서 골프 참여자의 참여 동기는 무엇이며, 둘째, 가족 여가로서 골프 참여자의 만족은 어떠한지, 셋째, 가족 여가로서 골프 참여자의 골프참여에의 제약은 어떠한가를 연구문제로 설정하였다. 본 연구에서는 유목적 표집법을 사용하여 가족여가로서 골프에 참여하고 있는 14명의 연구 참여자를 선정하였으며 주관적인 체험내용을 알아보기 위해 질적 연구 방법 중 하나인 ‘현상학적 접근법’을 본 연구의 방법론적 틀로 사용하여 개별적, 집단적 심층 면담과 체험기술, 참여관찰, 현장노트에 대한 내용분석을 통해 자료의 수집이 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 귀납적 범주 분석 과정인 주제 범주의 생성(categorization)과 의미화(conceptualization)의 과정을 통해 분석하였으며, 연구결과의 타당도와 신뢰도를 높이기 위하여 충분한 기간 동안 관찰, 연구자 확인, 전문가의 조언을 구하여 연구를 수행하였으며, 연구 참여자에 의한 연구결과의 검증은 삼각 검증법을 통해 자료의 진실성과 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 이상의 연구방법과 절차를 통하여 얻은 결론을 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족여가로서 골프 참여자의 시작 동기 요인은 타인의 영향, 가족의 분위기, 주변 환경의 영향으로 나타났고, 지속 동기 요인은 교류감, 격려로 나타났다. 둘째, 가족여가로서 골프 참여자의 만족에는 신체적, 정서적, 사회적 만족으로 나타났다. 셋째, 가족여가로서 골프에의 참여에는 경제적, 시간적, 환경적, 대인적 제약이 따르는 것으로 나타났다.
