The Ethics of Spinoza is the product of living history in seventeenth and the peak of modem thought. I think, Ethics is open work and open system, unlike misunderstanding and prejudice brought by subtheme. In what sense is Ethics open philosophy? In Spinoza, existence, like that of the classic thought, is not philosophical problem. Existence is immediacy of being. It is givenness, not problem demanding to be solved. In other words, existence is spontaneity of being and philosophy affirms it. To make Ethics open system is affirmation of existence. What is ontological project Ethics includes as philosophy of affirmation? This is the basic concern in this article. Affirmation is the principle of contemplation in the first part of Ethics(vo1. I, II). There we can found the viewpoint of the immanence of Spinoza. From it we can also know his terms Substance is self-being, based on causa sui and infinity. And this term provides the rich foundation of discourse about unity, difference and causality for contemporary philosophies. The first part in second chapter in this article examines the principles and concepts of Spinoza that explain being. The other clear characteristics of Spinoza's thought is actually in the extremely surprising appreciation about power of being(potentia). This makes his ontology metaphysics of productive power. This point becomes more clear in connecting power of existing in things with potentia as absolute power in the first part of Ethics. The second concern of this article is to examine how his principle of power becomes the foundation to discover conatus, that is, human power of existing. The third concern of article is the unique viewpoint of Spinoza who sees the world and the human, In the second part of Ethics(vo1. Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ), Spinoza's eye turns toward human conditions of existence and their absolute fortune, naming it servitude. In Spinoza the world is the only terrain of being that truth moves. The world is the physical and ethical reality of mode. Excavating into this reality, he advocates the world of modality and presents it as productive and constitutive reality. Human powers and their conditions of existence are explained by theory of Conatus, which is the substantial foundation to progress his viewpoint. Third chapter of article, on this foundation, examines the ethics in the second part of Ethics. One of the main subjects is Spinoza's theory of affect(sffectio). Here I try to sketch Spinoza as Anti-metaphysist, who throws the problem of the nature of human body, criticises the absolute faculty of mind and then presents the true nature and power of the human body and mind. Thus, the first purpose of this chapter is in dealing with Spinoza as anti-phliosopher, rather psychiatrist. And this descriptions are deeply related with his psychiatrics' considerations. Through examining his considerations, third chapter passes step by step into the process of Spinoza's thought, where he reduces Good and Evil, all values to joy and sadness, that is, primitive affects of human being. Through it article approaches to the mature thought of Spinoza who discovers ethical difference not opposition and emphasizes action not passion, joy not sadness, joyful passion not sad passion. From this it is the purpose of this chapter to describe Spinoza as critical philosopher, destroying the illusions of consciousness and all transcendental values in morden times. Through the total criticism, Spinoza's ethics, suggesting the passage toward the greater joy and perfection, presents that metaphysics' self-being is self-power for becoming joyful and becoming active. By discovering it, Spinoza presents rational affects which in the human appetitus or cupiditas constitute the relation (composition) with the others. And also he presents human virtus that understands the world. Further, he proposes them as mechanism of constitution, or mechanism of liberation. In this context, the fourth chapter examines the positive functions of desire and imagination, and rereads them in the viewpoint of constitution. The moment of constitution followed by criticism may be politics toward collective practice and human freedom. For them Spinoza conceptualizes human power of life materialistically and emphasizes ethical constitution of desire and imagination, as well as collective practice of human being. These ethical considerations of Spinoza are related with the late political works, which investigate the foundations and forms of the human community. In this viewpoint article is nothing but one step of the greater tasks that approachs to his comprehensive ethico-political projects in Spinoza's late works.-
