《史記》 列傳 人物形象 硏究

Abstract

＜＜史記＞＞는 中國 紀傳體의 濫觴인 동시에 漢代의 대표적 歷史散文이다. 司馬遷은 부친 司馬談의 遺言에 따라 博學多識한 見聞과 太史令으로서의 使命을 가지고 ＜＜史記＞＞ 著作에 일생의 온 정열을 쏟았다. 특히 李陵의 事件으로 腐刑을 당하는 悲劇的인 삶 속에서도 發憤하여 漢代의 政治, 社會 등 제반의 여러가지 모순과 부패성을 첨예하게 批判하였다. 또한 자신이 추구하는 理想的인 人間像과 世界를 ＜＜史記＞＞를 통해서 표출하였다. ＜＜史記＞＞는 총 555,660宇로 130篇 즉 木紀12, 表10, 書8, 世家30, 列傳70으로 구성되어 있다. 本稿에서는 그 중 列傳70篇 중 32篇에 등장하는 人倫들의 形象을 분석함으로써 궁극적으로 司馬遷의 著述 意圖 및 敍述 意圖를 연구하였다. 列傳에서 다루는 歷吏的 人物의 범위는 皇帝 때부터 漢武帝 시대까지이며 泰漢의 교체기에 등장하는 人物과 前漢시기를 배경으로 등장하는 人物을 합한 것이 모두 33篇이고, 先泰과 前漢의 人物을 합하여 이루어진 것이 6 篇이다. 여기에서 漢代의 人物들이 大擧 登場하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 筆者는 다른 어떤 시대보다도 자신이 살던 當代에 가장 큰 관심이 있었고 아직은 모든 면에서 불안정만 상해인 前漢 初期의 政治社會的 矛盾과 人間 內部 葛藤을 심각하게 인식하였음을 알 수 있다. 本稿는 기존 硏究에서 그 文學性이 높이 평가된 32篇을 기본으로 하고 中心人物을 크게 臣療, 公子, 列女, 其他 등으로 選別하여 분석하였다. 司馬遷 이 名將, 忠臣, 賢臣, 奸臣, 酷吏, 賢公子, 愚公子, 刺客, 豪俠, 滑稽家, 財富家 등의 形象을 塑造함으로써 漢代의 政治 社會的 矛盾과 漢武帝에 대한 不滿을 토로하였고 나아가 지향해야할 道德的이고 휴머니즘적인 人間像을 제시하였다. 특히 太后, 傑女, 賢母, 良妻, 孝女 등으로 列女의 形象을 塑造함으로써 男女同等과 性別과 身分高下를 막론한 平等을 역설한 점은 당시로서는 매우 進步的 思考를 견지하였음을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 ＜＜史記＞＞ 列傳의 一切의 人物들은 司馬遷의 치밀하고 섬세한 필치로 그려졌으며 意圖的으로 著者의 思想體系를 반영하고 있으며 이는 곧 文學이 작자의 思想과 感情의 表現이라는 점에서 後代文學에 큰 공헌을 하였다. 司馬遷은 탁월한 歷史家로서의 見識과 위대한 文學家로서의 才氣를 발휘하여 ＜＜史記＞＞안에 歷史와 文學을 훌륭히 조화시킴으로써 中國 傳統 文化에 深遠한 영향을 미쳤다.;The historical Records(史記) is not only the first ji-zhuan-ti(紀傳體) historic book in china also the genesis of literature as a great prose writing of history in the period of the Han(漢) Dynasty(B.C 206~A.D 25). Si-ma chien(司馬遷;B.C145~86) put his heart into writing The Historical Records(史記) following Si-ma Tan(司馬談)'s will, with various experience and a sense of mission as a Grand Historian. Especially in spite of tragic life that he suffered fu-xing(腐刑) which is a consequence of the affair of Li-LiNG(李陵), he exerted himself and sharply criticized the government, society and various inconsistency and corruption. Besides he expressed his lofty ideal in detail and clearly through The historical Records(史記). In this manuscript the shapes of characters appearing in 70 lie-zhuan(列傳) out of 130 books are analyzed. Ch.1. The summary of history of research and the purpose and the method of research are referred to as an introduction. Ch.2. The life of Si-ma chien(司馬遷) and several fact about the writing of The Historical Records(史記) are referred to. Ch.3. The structure and construction of The Historical Records(史記) are referred to and main characters are chosen. Ch.4. The analization of the shapes of chen-liao(臣療) which are classified into ming-zhang(名將),cong-chen(忠臣),xian-chen(賢臣),gan-chen(奸臣),hu-li(酷吏),xian-gongzi(賢公子),yu-gongzi(愚公子). Ch.5 The analization of the shapes of lie-nu¨(列女) which are ciassified in to tai-hu(太后),jie-nu(傑女),xian-mu(賢母),liang-qi(良妻),xiao-nu¨(孝女). Ch.6 The analizaton of the shapes of the others which are classified into hu-xia(豪俠),ci-ke(刺客),hua-ji-jia(滑稽家),cai-fu-jia(財富家). Ch.7 The meaning of the shapes of characters. Ch.8 Conclusion Through the shapes of characters in The Historical Records(史記), Ssu-ma chien(司馬遷) sharply criticized the politic and social inconsistency and corruption and expressed a human society being full of humanism as his ideal.
