플라톤의 디아렉티케 연구

Abstract

본 논문에서 필자는 플라톤의 디아렉티케에 대한 연구를 그 목적으로 했다. 그리고 디아렉티케에 대한 연구를 통해 플라톤 철학을 현상구제의 철학으로 해석해 보았다. 필자는 플라톤의 디아렉티케를 종합(συυαγωγη)과 분할(διαζρεσιζ)의 양면적이며 상호적인 절차로 새로이 규정하였고, 철학의 방법인 디아렉티케와 플라톤 존재론의 긴밀한 연관을 밝혀 보았다 또 개˙별˙적˙인˙ 하˙나˙의˙ 형˙상˙에 대한 플라톤의 관심을, 점차 형˙상˙일˙반˙에 대한 관심으로 변화되어 형˙상˙들˙간˙의˙ 관˙계˙를˙ 문제삼았으며, 이와 함께 자신의 협상론을 검토하여 후기협상론으로 변화시켰음을 밝혔다. 그리고 이러한 플라톤 형상론의 변화는 현상의 주제와 철학적 난제(aporia) 해결이라는 플라톤 철학의 과제에 부응하는 것이었음을 강조했다. 그리고, 이러한 형상론의 변화속에서 디아렉티케는 여전히 협상들에로 향하는 철학의 방법이었으며, 플라톤 후기사상에 있어서 디아렉티케의 작업이란, 곧 철학적 작업과 동일시 할 수 있다는 점에 대해 주목하여, 디아렉티케는 존재론적 의미에서 해석되어야 함을 강조했고, 플라톤의 디마렉티케는 결코 존재론과 격리된 별개의 방법론에 아님을 밝혔다. 이상과 같은, 플라톤의 디아렉티케에 대한 연구를 통해 필자는, 플라톤 철학을 다음과 같이 해석했다. 즉, 플라톤의 철학은 현상세계에 대한 호기심에서 출발하여, 이 현상세계를 설명하기 위해 현상세계의 근거를 탐구했고, 현상계를 설명하기 위해 상정된 존재가 형상(ειδοζ)이었다. 그리고 플라톤은 자신의 형상론을 검토하여. 후기형상론에로 변화시키는데 이 변화 역시 개별자(individual)와 형상을 접근(rapprochement)시키는 즉, 현상구제(to save phenomena)를 위한 일보진척이었다는 점이다.;The purpose of this paper is to study the dialektike of Plato. It is not here intended to inquire into the nature of dialektike in detail, for Plato himself did not elucidate the nature of dialektike systematically. The study on dialektike here amounts to pointing out the fact that Plato's Philosophy as a whcle intends to save the phenomena and that dialektike is conceived to be a method of philosophy to establish Ideas as ground of phenomena. In the first chapter, the analysis of dialogues 'Phaedrus,' 'Philebus,' and 'Sophist' is concentrated on the explanation that appearance of dialektike is to be considered as a procedure of method of Collection and Division. Dialektike is a method to perceive and to present the relation of Ideas to each other. Some arguments which arise in regard to this propsotion are investigated in the following chapter. As we know, in Plato's philosophy the ontology and epistemology coincide with each other. Accordingly, plato's dialektike should be ontologically investigated. In other words, the investigation of dialektike must be carried out In close relation to plato's thoery of Ideas. In his later dialogues Plato is more concerned about the whole body Ideas and their relation to each other rather than the particular form of Ideas. This change corresponds with his whole intention which amounts to inquiring after the method to save the phenomena.
