이미지의 해체와 재구성에 관한 설치미술 작품표현 연구

Abstract

해체는 인간의 가치관의 변화와 끊임없이 새로운 것을 요구하는 시대의 흐름에 따라 정형화된 사고에서, 보다 개방적이고 열린 사고를 통해 건축, 의상 등 철학뿐 만 아니라 예술 분야에서도 지속적으로 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있다. 설치미술이 현대 예술의 흐름에서 사회적 욕구와 배경, 인간의 사상을 나타내는 중요한 요소로 볼 때 예술은 시대의 흐름과 가치관의 변화에 따라 새로운 방법을 모색하고 있으며 예술의 분야 중 설치미술부분에서도 해체적 요소의 영향력은 예외가 아니다. 테크놀로지의 발전은 설치미술의 발전에 박차를 가했으며, 이는 작품의 실험적인 구성형태로 관객을 보다 수동적인 입장에서 적극적인 입장으로 변화시켰다. 현대사회에서 설치 미술은 보다 다양한 시각과 형태로 표현되고 있으며, 이에 관한 대중들의 관심도 점차 증가하고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 볼 때 본 연구는 기존의 회화나 건축 의상분야에 비해 설치 미술분야에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 디자인에 나타난 해체적 요소의 표현방식을 토대로 해체의 조형적 특성을 적용하여 설치미술에 적용 함으로서 기존의 고정관념에서 벗어난 창조적 조형물의 가능성을 확장시키고자 한다. 본 연구의 내용은 선행 연구로 건축과 의상 분야에서 나타난 해체적 조형 요소가 끊임 없이 창출하는 예술적 표현에 어떻게 반영됐는지 작품 사례를 분석하여 궁극적으로 동시대적인 요소와 해체의 조형적 특성을 통해 창의적 설치 미술 작품을 제작하는 것에 의의를 둔다. 선행 연구를 통해 나타난 해체적 조형요소의 특성은 차 연, 상호텍스트성, 탈 구성, 분리, 불연속, 탈 중심성, 불 확정성이다. 이 특성이 적용된 사례를 중심으로 해체적 설치미술 작가들의 작품을 분석하였다. 다양한 작품의 분석을 통해 나타난 특성을 반영하여 설치미술작품을 제작하였다. 작품 제작에 해체적 조형 요소를 반영한 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 1. 작품에서 보여진 특성은 상호텍스트성을 중점적으로 표현하여 사람과 오브제와의 관계에 대한 의의를 부여하였다. 2. 사람이 움직일 때 마다 각기 다른 형식의 이미지가 보여짐에 따른 불확정성 특성을 반영하였다. 3. 탈 구성, 탈 중심성 특성은 사람 마다 다르게 보여지는 각의 형태와 구성요소로 인해 단일한 패턴에서 벗어나 새로운 형태를 창조하였다. 4. 이미지는 본래 여러 개의 작은 픽셀로 구성되어지나, 거울을 통해 본래 구성된 픽셀의 원리를 재 분리 하였다. 5. 공간적인 벽면의 구성에 시간적인 개념의 차이가 지연되어 사람에 따라 반응하는 것은 시, 공간의 초월을 의미를 두었다. 6. 작은 이미지들의 조각이 분산되는 동시에 혼합되고 중첩되면서, 반복적으로 보여진 이미지는 불연속적인 특성을 반영하였다;In accordance with a flow of the times that require a change in the value system of a human being, and a continuously new thing, the deconstruction can be steadily seen even in the artistic field as well as philosophy such as architecture and clothing, through the more open thought from the formulaic thought. Given seeing that the installation art is an important element that shows social desire, background, and the thought of a human being in a flow of modern art, the art is seeking for a new method depending on a flow of the times and on a change in value system, and the deconstructive influence is not exceptional even in the installation art. In modern society, the installation art is being expressed with more diverse visions and shapes, and the masses interest in this gets also increasing gradually. The development of technology gave an impetus to the growth of installation art, and this changed viewers from passive position to more positive position, with the experimentally constructive shape in a work. In light of this viewpoint, it is a real situation that is short of a research on the field of installation art, compared to the existing fields such as painting, architecture and clothing. The purpose of this study is to expand the possibility of creative molding that escaped from the existing fixed idea, by applying the formative characteristics in deconstruction to the installation art, based on the expressive method of a deconstructive element which was indicated in design. The contents of this study analyze on how the deconstructive formative element, which was shown in the fields of architecture and clothing for the preceding research, reflected the artistic expression that continues to be created, with excluding the philosophically dualistic thought, through the cases in a work. By doing so, it ultimately puts significance on manufacturing a work of creative installation art through the contemporary element and through the formative characteristics in deconstruction.
