암전문병원 간호사의 비판적 사고성향, 임상 의사결정능력, 직무만족도에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 암전문병원 간호사의 비판적 사고성향, 임상 의사결정능력, 직무만족도를 파악하고 이들 간의 관계를 탐색하기 위한 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 연구 대상자는 K도에 소재한 516병상의 K병원에 근무하는 암전문병원 간호사로 본 연구에 동의한 150명이다. 연구 도구는 총 87문항으로 구성되어 있으며, 간호사의 비판적 사고성향은 윤진(2004)이 개발한 비판적 사고성향 측정도구를 사용하였다. 간호사의 임상 의사결정능력은 Jenkins(1985)가 개발한 The Clinical Decision Making in Nursing Scale(CDMNS)를 백미경(2005)이 번역, 수정한 임상 의사결정능력 측정 도구를 사용하였다. 마지막으로 간호사의 직무만족도는 Paula (1978)가 개발한 Atittude Scale to Measure Occupational Satisfaction of Hospital Nurses 를 한창복(1995)이 번역하고 박현태(1997)가 수정 보완한 직무만족도 측정 도구를 이용하여 측정하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 대상자의 비판적 사고성향은 총점평균 97.13점이며, 대상자의 임상 의사결정능력은 총점평균 136.89점을 보였다. 대상자의 직무만족도는 총점평균 63점을 보였다. 2. 대상자의 비판적 사고성향은 근무부서(F=4.426, p=.005), 직위(F=9.346, p=.000)에 따라, 대상자의 임상 의사결정능력은 직위(F=10.667, p=.000)에 따라, 대상자의 직무만족도는 평균급여(F=6.779, p=.002), 총 근무경력(F=2.701, p=.033), 직위(F=5.423, p=.005)에서 통계적으로 유의하였다. 3. 대상자의 비판적 사고성향과 임상 의사결정능력(r=.500, p=.000) 및 직무만족도(r=.125, p=.030)와 정적인 상관관계를 보였다. 또한, 대상자의 임상 의사결정능력과 직무만족도(r=.310, p=.000)는 정적인 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구 결과 암전문병원 간호사가 업무에 있어서 의사결정시 비판적 사고성향이 높을수록 임상 의사결정능력도 향상되어, 스스로 문제를 해결하고 개인의 인지과정을 통해 능동적으로 해결할 때 간호사의 직무만족도 또한 상승되며, 암전문병원 간호사의 비판적 사고 성향과 임상 의사결정능력, 직무만족도가 정적 상관관계를 이루었으므로 이에 초점을 둔 교육과 행정지원이 필요하다.;The Relationships among Critical Thinking Disposition, Clinical Decision Making and Job Satisfaction in the Cancer Center Nurses This study was a descriptive correlation study to understand the critical thinking disposition, clinical decision making and job satisfaction of cancer center nurses and investigate their relationships. The study participants of this study consisted of 150 nurses working at the Cancer Canter located in Gyeonggi-do. The stastic program, SPSS WIN17.0 was used for data analysis and the data was analyzed by using t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Below were the summary of the research results. 1. As for the critical thinking disposition showed the mean of 97.13, of the clinical decision making showed the mean 136.89 and the job satisfaction was the mean 63. 2. The critical thinking disposition of the subjects showed statistical significant differences according to working department (F=4.426, p=.005), position (F=9.346, p=.000). In case of the clinical decision making of the study participants, statistical significant differences existed according to job position (F=10.667, p=.000). Furthermore, as for the job satisfaction, there were statistical significant differences according to average year based salary (F=6.779, p=.002), total working experience (F=2.701, p=.033) and job position (F=5.423, p=.005). 3. The critical thinking disposition showed a positive relationship with clinical decision making (r=.500, p=.000) and job satisfaction (r=.125, p=.030). In addition, the clinical decision making showed a positive relationship with job satisfaction (r=.310, p=.000) As a result of this study, it was confirmed that the positive relationship between the critical thinking disposition, clinical decision making and job satisfaction exists. Namely, it can be expected that in the individual or business affairs, when cancer center nurses solve problems and make decisions, the higher the critical thinking disposition to judge and think for themselves is, the more the clinical decision making becomes and when they solve problems for themselves and choose alternatives and positively solve them through individual recognition courses, the job satisfaction of nurses also rise. Therefore, it is considered that an institutional measure and program development to improve the critical thinking disposition and clinical decision making are required in order to raise the job satisfaction of the cancer center nurses.
