빈센트 반 고흐 회화 이미지를 응용한 의상 디자인

Abstract

오늘날 패션은 자아표출의 통로로 우리 생활 전반에 걸쳐 큰 비중을 차지하게 되었고 현대패션이 디자이너들에 의해 많은 발전을 해왔다. 이러한 패션의 발전 속에서 소재는 패션에 중요한 부분으로 자리 잡았고, 그 중 드로잉 한 원단을 소재개발 함에 있어 더욱 새로운 것을 모색하고 창의적인 디자인을 찾고자 하는 노력은 지속되고 있다. 특히 패션디자인의 예술성을 표현 하기위한 방법으로 일부 디자이너들은 의상과 회화의 접목을 통해 조형적인 의상을 연구하고 있으며 회화적 드로잉 기법을 패션소재에 적용하여 작가의 작품세계를 의상 매체를 통하여 표출하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 빈센트 반 고흐의 회화에서 붓 터치에 의해 생겨난 역동적이며 율동성 있는 선 드로잉 이미지를 작품의 모티브로 도입하고, 글루를 드로잉을 하기위한 매체로 선택하여 작품 표현을 시도함으로써 예술적이며 독창적인 패션디자인의 전개 가능성을 제시하고 패션디자인의 표현 영역을 확대하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 내용 및 방법은 문헌 고찰과 작품사진 자료 수집을 통하여 본 연구의 이론적 배경을 고찰하기 위해 빈센트 반 고흐의 회화를 분석하였으며 인터넷 자료 검색을 통하여 고흐의 회화를 응용한 패션디자인 작품사례를 수집 분석 하였다. 또한 핸드 드로잉개념과 기법에 대하여 조사하고 패션디자인에 적용된 핸드 드로잉 기법을 연구하고 패션디자인에 대한 적용사례를 수집하고 설명하였다. 이를 토대로 빈센트 반 고흐의 회화에서 특징적으로 드러난 선의 구조를 모티브로 재구성하고, 글루와 털실을 매체로 이용하여 고흐의 강렬한 이미지를 보여주는 의상 작품 8점을 제작하였다. 이를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 빈센트 반 고흐 특유의 자유로운 곡선과 리드미컬하면서 회화적인 특성이 독창적인 패션 디자인 개발의 모티브가 되어 의상에 응용할 수 있는 범위가 넓다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 털실은 드로잉 할시 윤곽을 잡아줄 뿐 아니라 강조하고자 하는 부분을 글루와 결합하여 굵게 또는 입체적으로 표현하는 것을 가능하게 하는 소재임을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 글루와 털실을 이용한 핸드 드로잉 기법이 고흐 회화의 특성인 역동적인 선의 표현과 잘 부합됨을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같이 본 연구에서는 반 고흐의 회화의 조형성을 표현하기 위해 글루와 털실을 이용한 드로잉 기법을 의상디자인에 도입하였다. 패션 디자인의 발상적인 면에서 회화는 지금까지 중요한 위치를 차지하여 왔고 본 연구를 통해서 다시 한번 중요성을 확인하였다. 또한 글루와 털실은 재료의 특수성으로 인해 핸드 드로잉의 소재로 개발될 수 있는 잠재력을 확인 하였다. 하지만 글루심이 주는 색상의 한계와 글루 심이 녹으면서 나오는 두께의 한계 등 어려움이 있어 많은 기술적인 요소가 필요한 분야이므로 앞으로도 연구, 개발이 지속적으로 이루어 져야 할 것으로 보인다.;Today, fashion has taken a large proportion throughout our lives as a tool of self-express. Contemporary fashion has been much progress by desiners. Fashion in the development of the material has become an important part. The efforts are being continued to find more new things and creative designs as a material development of drawing fabric. In particular, the artistry of fashion design as a way to express. Some designers have been reseached formative costumes through the combination of costumes and paintings and they have been expressed the art world of artist through the costume media to apply to fashion material pictorial drawing techniques. This study introduces the line drawing image, dynamic and rythmical at Vincent van Gogh's paintings by brushstrokes. It purposed to present the development possibilities of artistic and creative fashion design to expand the representation of the area by attempting to express works , using glue as a medium. Contents and methods of this study were analized Vincent van Gogh's paintings for consideration theoretical background of this study through literature, photo of arts data colletions and through reference internet materials which were collected work practices application of the paintings of Van Gogh. It was reserched concerning hand drawing concepts and techniques applications for fashion design, collected and explained. Based on this, It reconstructed as featured in the paintings of Vincent Van Gogh revealed the structure of the line as a motif. It was made eight kinds of work clothes showing Van Gogh's intense image using glue and woolen yarn as a medium. This conclusion is as follows: First, It could know the development of creative fashion design and motif which a wide range of costumes that can be applied to Vincent Van Gogh's unique curves and rhythmically free and painterly characteristics. Second, It could know woolen yarn is bold or three-dimensional materials that make it possible to express when drawing make outlines to combine with glue. Third, It could know hand drawing techniques using glue and yarn was represented a dynamic line that fits well and was able to find out the traits of Van Gogh paintings. In this study, costume design was introduced drawing technique using glue and yarn Van Gogh painting to express formative. A painting in terms of idea fashion design has been occupied an important position until now through this study once again confirmed the importance. Glue and yarn was confirmed the potential in the hand drawing's material to be developed as a material due to the uniqueness. On the other hand, There are difficulties. For example, glue color limits and the thickness of glue melts ones. It has to continue research and development future. Because it needs a lot of the necessary technical elements.
