남미해방신학과 이데올로기와의 연관에 대한 연구

Abstract

This thesis is an attempt to engage in theological reflection on the faith of Christian community and the theological problems of ideology under the circumstances of the currently divided Korea. In an basic attempt to solve this question, it examines Liberation Theology in Latin America in which a theological work has been developed through dialogue between Christianity and Marxism, and through critical acceptance of Marxism. Through this examination, this thesis tries to give light on the meaning of the renewedly understood faith in the context of Latin America situation and its critical contemplation on its historical experience in order to provide political understanding for those Christians who struggle against social injustice and oppression for liberation and justice and to put a groundwork for praxis. As an introduction, chapter 1 sets forth a main issue of this thesis, an objective of the study and a methology for it. Chapter 2, starting from liberating praxis, discusses historical view and pra- xis methology, which provide groundwork; and motive for Liberation Theology which always takes on side of the poor people. Chapter 3 is based upon Liberation Theology which arose from the awakening of consciousness of Christian in Latin America, and challenged the traditional Western Theology, partiality and dependence theory. These constitute criticisms on ideological justification of Christianity for maintaining ruling system in Latin America. Chapter 4 reviews historical background in which Liberation Theology came to meet Marxism through critical thought and procedures to accomodate Marxism. It is d as tools by liberation theology to analyse social injustice and oppression in Latin America. Then it tries to set out what standpoint theology should take regarding ideological problems, and it shows the relationships between Christianity and Marxism in liberating praxis. In the final part of the thesis, it tries to find out and evaluate the positive meaning of Liberation Theology. It claims that the critical reflection on ideological problems confronting between South and North Korea is a theological problem. Therefore, the theological study will provide a basic foundation for establishing a viable Christian political ethics in Korea.; 본 논문은 한국의 분단상황에서 기독교 공동체 신앙과 이데올로기의 문제에 관한 신학적 반성이 신학의 과제임을 인식하고, 이 과제를 해결하기 위한 기초작업의 일환으로 기독교와 마르크스주의와의 대화 및 비판적 수용을 통해 신학적 작업을 전개시킨 라틴 아메리카 해방신학을 고찰하였다. 이로부터 라틴 아메리카 상황안에서 새롭게 이해된 신앙의 의미와 그 역사적 경험에 대한 비판적 숙고를 밝혀봄으로써 불의와 압제에 대항하여 자유와 정의를 위해 투쟁하는 크리스챤의 정치적 이해와 실천의 지평을 열고자 한다. 제1장은 서론으로서 본 논문의 문제 제기 및 연구의 목적을 밝히고 연구 방법을 밝힌다. 제2장은 해방하는 실천으로부터 출발하여 가난한 사람들을 편들고 선택하는 해방신학의 기초이자 동기가 되는 역사관 프락시스 방법론을 다룬다. 제3장에서는 라틴 아메리카 크리스챤들의 의식의 각성을 통하여 이루어진 해방신학이 지금까지 지배적인 위치를 차지하고 있던 서구 전통신학에 대한 근본적인 도전으로서 서구신학과는 달리 억압당하는 민중의 삶을 신학의 자리로 삼아 기존의 신학 그리고 현재 남미의 지배체제를 유지시켜 온 기독교의 이데올로기적 정당화에 대한 비판인 당파성과 종속론을 다룬다. 제4장에서는 이러한 비판적 숙고를 통하여 해방신학이 마르크스주의와 만나게 된 배경과 현 라틴 아메리카의 불의와 억압의 상황을 분석하는 사회분석도구로서 마르크스주의를 비판적으로 수용하는 과정과 그 의미를 논한다. 그리하여 신학에 있어서 이데올로기를 어떠한 관점에서 바라보아야 하는지, 해방의 실천에 있어서의 기독교와 마르크스주의와의 관계를 밝힌다. 결론적으로 이상의 논술을 정리하면서 밝혀지는 해방신학의 긍정적 의의와 평가를 내리고 통일이라는 민족적 과제를 안고 있는 한국의 분단상황에서 이데올로기 문제에 대한 비판적 성찰이 한국신학의 과제임을 재인식하고 이를 한국기독교정치윤리의 수립을 위한 토대임을 제시한다.
