J. S. Bach의 "Chromatic fantasy and fugue"와 E. Granados의 "Danzas Espanolas"에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 대학원 졸업 연주회에서 연주된 작품들 중에서 Johann Sebastian Bach(1685∼1750)의 [Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue in d minor(BWV 903)]과 Enrique Granados(1867~1916)의 [Danzas Espan~olas]중 Jata와 Villanesca를 연주함에 있어서 각 작곡가의 음악을 이해하고 이들 작품을 연주하는데 도움을 주기위한 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구의 내용은 각 작곡가 작품의 분석과 함께 J.S Bach의 [Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue]에서는 Fantasy와 Fugue의 개념을, 그리고 E. Granados의 [Danzas Espan~olas]에서는 스페인 음악의 특징을 제시함으로서 이해에 도움이 되도록 하였다. J.S. Bach의 [Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue]에서 Fantasy 부분은 르네상스나 바로크 초기의 대위법을 기초로 한 형태에서 진일보하여 근대적인 개념의 자유로운 구조를 가진 즉흥적 환상곡의 모습을 지녔으며 음계형 패시지의 다양한 사용, 레시타티브 부분, 그리고 아르페지오를 이용한 선율진행 등의 성격이 자유롭게 어울려 나타남으로서 이 작품의 즉흥적인 성격을 더한다. Fugue부분 역시 대위법적 기법의 전형을 보여주지만 반음계적 주제의 진행으로 즉흥적 성격을 나타내어 두 부분은 일체감을 이룬다. E. Granados의 두 작품(Jota, Villanesca)은 전혀 성격이 다른 것으로 단순한 음악적 내용과 형식안에서 민속음악의 경향을 드러낸다. 스페인의 대표적인 민속악기인 기타의 주법을 묘사하여 민속적인 리듬과 선율로서 스페인의 독특한 음악성을 나타낸다. 짧은 동기적 음형의 반복이 단조로운 화성진행 안에서 이루어지고 있는 음악적 내용을 보여주어 때로는 지루함을 유발 할 수 있으므로 다이나믹을 통한 다양한 표현과 템포의 변화로 표정이 드러날 수 있도록 연주하는 것이 필요하다.; The purpose of this study is to evaluate the interpretation and Techique in which playing the J. S. Bach's( Johann Sebastian Bach 1685∼1750) [Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue in D minor (BWV 903)] and [Villanesca] and [Jota] of E. Granados' (Enrique Granados 1867∼1916) [Danzas Espan˘olas]. In the Fantasy, it is composed of liberal and Improvisatory structures more progressive than the types of Renaissance or early Baroque based on counter point ; whith variable use of scalic passage, recitative, and arpeggio melody, the characteristics of this is the most improvisatory. Also, though Fugue shows classical contrapuntal styles. it is harmonized with Fantasy by improvisatory features of chromatic theme progression. Because of Variable editorial intention on each occasion. it is required to establish ideal playing interpretation by means of score comparision and to manifest dear scalic passage. Granados' two works(Jota and Villanesca) different from each other, have a tendency to traditional Music with relatively Simple musical forms. He established Spanish peculiarity by means of guitar execution and his native rhythm. His tendency to repetation of brief periodic passage in harmonic progression give rise tiresome. it is required in playing to express the diversity by use of dynamic variation and changing Tempo.
