J. S. Bach suite No. 5, BWV. 1011과 J. Brahms cello sonata op. 38 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주 곡목중에서 J.S.Bach Cello Suite No. 5 BWV.1011과 J.Brahms Cello sonata op.38, No.1을 이론적으로 살펴본 것으로서 여러 문헌을 통하여 작품의 역사적 배경을 살펴 보았고, 분석을 통하여 곡의 내용과 구조적인 면을 연구하였다. J.S.Bach Cello suite No. 5는 Bach의 창작열이 가장 왕성했던 「co¨then」시기 작품으로 고전 모음곡(Baroque suite)의 기본적 무곡구성(Allemande-Courante-Sarabande-Gigue)에 Gavotte가 삽입 되었고 이 무곡들 앞에 전주곡 (Prelude)을 덧붙이는 특징을 갖는다. 따라서 음계에 의한 경과구 (Passage)가 다채롭게 사용된 독립성이 강한 전주곡 부분을 1부로, 주제의 발전이 적은 간소한 형태의 무곡들을 2부로 간주해도 좋을 만큼 성격적으로 뚜렷함을 보인다. J.Brahms Cello Sonata op.38, No.1은 Brahms의 작품활동중 제2기에 속하는 작품으로 제1악장은 전통적 sonata형식, 제2악장은 Trio를 갖는 Menuetto로 Da Capo에 의해 Menuetto가 재진술 되는 복합 3 부분형식(Compound Ternary Form), 제3악장은 Fugue기법을 이용한 복합 3부분형식으로 구성된다. 이와같이 Brahms는 낭만주의적 흐름 속에서도 고전파가 즐겨 사용하던 형식적 요소를 받아 들였고 더 나아가 두 요소들을 융합하여 그의 독자적인 작품세계를 구축하였다. ;In this thesis, among the pieces performed at the graduation recital for completion of the master's course, Suite No. 5 BWV. 1011 by J.S. Bach and Cello Sonata Op.38, No.1 by J. Brahms are theoretically examined in detail.
