Abstract
Pietro Aaron의 Toscanello in Musica(1562)는 르네상스(Renaissance)의 rhythm(리듬), counterpoint(대위), tuning(조율체계)등의 음악이론을 체계적으로 제시한 논서이다. 本 논문은 크게 2부로 구성되어 있으며, 제1부는 Toscanello in musica, Ⅱ권 중에서 counterpoint에 해당하는 1장에서 31장까지의 한국어 번역; 그리고 제2부는 Toscanello in Musica, Ⅱ권, 1장∼31장에 포함된 4성부 이론을 연구하고, 4성부 이론을 중심으로 10세기로부터 16세기까지의 음정구조를 고찰함으로써, 2성. 3성, 4성간의 연관성 및 르네상스 4성부 음정구조와 3화음과의 상관관계를 연구하였다. ;Toscanello in Musica written by Pietro Aaron i s the treatise on music theory of Renaissance. This thesis is composed of two parts : in the first part, the translation of Book Ⅱ , Chapters 1 ~ 31 in Toscanello in Musica into Korean, and in the second part, the theoretical study about the structure of intervals from tenth century to sixteenth century by analysing Pietro Aaron's theory of four voices. Since the concepts of two voices and three voices were involved in Pietro Aaron's theory of four voices, it can be found that his theory contains the Structure of intervals of polyphony from tenth century to sixteenth century. However, the lack of horizontal relations in the structure of intervals made the appearance of the triad invitable.
