Dmitri Shostakovich의 Cello Sonata Op.40 d minor에 관한 연구 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 쇼스타코비치 (Dmitri Shostakovich 1906-1975)의 Cello Sonata in d minor Op. 40을 분석 연구한 것이다. 이 곡은 1934년에 작곡된 4악장의 전형적인 소나타로 고전적인 경향과 현대적인 음악형식이 대조를 이루던 당시 음악적 상황에서 그 두 가지를 고루 수용, 절충하고자 했던 쇼스타코비치의 노력이 나타난 작품이라 할 수 있다. 제 1악장은 종결부를 가진 소나타 형식, 제2악장은 왈츠와 유사한 복합 3분 형식으로 종결부를 수반하며 제 3악장은 3부형식, 제 4악장은 론도 형식으로 작곡되었다. 각 악장에 나타나는 주제는 다양하게 변화하고 반복되는데, 순차. 도약 진행이 혼합된 선율윤곽과 고전적 양식을 그대로 사용한 단순한 리듬으로 구성된다. 그리고 전통적인 3화음과 7화음의 화성진행, 대위적 기법, 지속음 등의 비화상음의 사용, 반음계적 선율진행, 관계 조 이외로의 전조 및 다양한 연주법 등을 통해서 고전적인 것과 현대적인 것이 잘 조화된 작품이다. 본 논문에서는 쇼스타코비치의 생애, 음악이념 및 작품의 음악적 특징을 살펴본 후에, 형식 주제 리듬 화성 등에 기초하여 이 곡을 분석하여 이 곡을 연주자가 연주할 때 작곡가의 의도에 보다 깊이 접근하고 이해할 수 있도록 하는데 그 목적을 두었다. ;Dmitri Shostakovich Cello Sonata in d minor Op.40 was performed in my recital for graduation. The result of the research based on this Cello Sonata is of as follows. Shostakovich composed this cello sonata in 1934, during the height of his artistic maturity. It has modern musical elements although the musical structure is based on that of the 19th century. Shostakovich Cello Sonata opus 40 is divided into four movements. The first movement is in sonata form. The second movement takes ternary form. The third movement is in binary form. Finally, the fourth movement is in rondo form with coda. It is noted that the movements contain a progressive motive, while the starting key and the cadence remain the same. Thematic motive is changed and repeated in great variety. Chord progression is no traditional, using triad, dominant seventh chord. Beside there are contrapuntal techniques such as imitation and change of voices. Shostakovich characteristically utilizes chromatic motion, disjunctive motion and sequence throughout the sonata. As a result his piece provides a wide variety of performance techniques. The intent of this research is to provide insight and knowledge to the performance of Shostakovich Cello Sonata Op.40
