Ludwig van Beethoven Cello Sonata Op.69 No.3 in A Major에 대한 연구

Abstract

This thesis is purposed to understand the music of Beethoven widely by analysing an Op.69 No.3 in A Major which is one of the five musics of the Cello Sonata composed by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770~1827). Beethoven was a composer who played the role of bridge to connect the classicism and romanticism. His music had made a great contribution in the development of western music with influence on the free romantic music in the free expression of emotion and format out of the frames of formalism and traditionalism. The first period of musical trend of Beethoven classified by Vincent d' Indy was the time for imitation to the classical school which put the weight on the formality and the second period was the time of emerging for his personality was realized by the firm establishment of his musical world, and the third period was the internal matureness that his musical outlook was stabilized based on the romanticism. The Cello Sonata Op.69 No.3 of Beethoven was a music composed in between 1807 and 1808 which corresponds to the second period. It was the period of establishment of Beethoven's own musical view and the complete acquiring of sonata format. In addition, this sonata of Beethoven was composed adventurously in musical range and technique comparing to the two cello sonatas composed previously. It has an important meaning in the history of western music such as the stabilization in the number of movements and format etc. This study intends to understand the overall features and background of the Beethoven's music through the research on the Cello Sonata Op.69 No.3 and to promote the understanding on the interpretation of the music and to improve the practical ability of musical performance by realization of the spirit of the composer contained at the musical codes through the analysis on the structure and developmental method of the music.;본 논문은 Ludwig van Beethoven (1770~1827)이 작곡한 Cello Sonata 5곡 중 하나인 Op.69 No.3 in A Major를 분석함으로서 Beethoven의 음악을 좀 더 폭넓게 이해하는데 그 목적이 있다. Beethoven은 고전주의에서 낭만주의로 이어지는 교량적 역할을 한 작곡가로 그의 음악은 형식주의, 전통주의의 틀을 벗어나 자유로운 감정 표출과 형식에 있어서 자유로운 낭만음악에 많은 영향을 주며 서양음악 발전에 지대한 공헌을 하였다. Vincent d' Indy (1851~1931)에 의해 Beethoven의 작품경향을 구분할 때 제 1기는 형식을 중요시하던 고전파에 대한 모방의 시기였으며, 제 2기는 그의 음악세계가 견고하게 확립되어 개성이 구체적으로 드러나기 시작한 시기이며 제 3기는 그의 음악적 안목이 낭만주의의 기초 위에 정립되었던 내성의 시기이다. Beethoven이 작곡한 Cello Sonata Op.69 No.3은 Beethoven 음악의 제 2기에 해당하는 1807년과 1808년 사이에 작곡된 작품으로 Beethoven의 독창적 음악관이 확립되며 Sonata 형식이 완전히 정립된 시기였다. 또한 Beethoven Cello Sonata Op.69 No.3은 이전에 작곡된 2곡의 Cello Sonata와 비교할 때 음역과 기교면에서 대담성 있게 작곡되었으며 악장 수나 형식면에서도 안정되는 등 서양음악사적으로 중요한 의미를 지니고 있다. Beethoven Cello Sonata Op.69 No.3에 대한 연구를 통해 Beethoven 음악의 전반적인 특징과 작품의 배경을 이해하고 악곡의 구조와 전개 방식의 분석을 통해 악보에 담긴 작곡가의 정신을 재현하여 곡 해석에 대한 이해도를 높이고 실질적인 연주력 향상을 도모하고자 한다.
