A. Ginastera의 피아노 소나타 no.1,op.22에 나타난 아르헨티나 민속 음악적 요소에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주 곡목 중 히나스테라 (Alberto Ginastera 1916-1983)의 파ㅣ아노 소나타 No. 1, Op. 22에 나타난 아르헨티나의 민속 음악 요소에 관한 연구이다. 20세기 아르헨티나의 국민주의 음악을 대표하는 작곡가인 히나스테라는 전 생애에 걸쳐서 다양한 양식과 음악적 경향을 지닌 작품들을 작곡하지만, 그의 전반적인 작품에는 아르헨티나의 민속적인 요소가 항상 뿌리가 되며 직접 혹은 간접적인 방법을 통해 민족적인 음악 성향을 나타내고 있다. 피아노 소나타 제 1번, op. 22는 히나스테라의 중기 작품으로 주관적 국민주의 시기에 쓰여진 곡이다. 총 4악장으로 이루어져 있으며, 제1악장은 소나타 형식, 제 2악장은 론도 형식, 제 3악장은 3부 형식, 그리고 제 4악장은 론도 형식으로 구성되어 전통적인 소나타의 틀을 갖추고 있고, 그 틀 안에는 민속적인 요소들과 현대적 음악 어법이 짜임새 있게 조화를 이루고 있다. 특히 이 곡 안에서 다양한 민속적인 음악 요소들이 발견되는데 잉카 음악의 5음 음계와 마람보 리듬, 3도 병행의 화성적 선율 진행, 타악기적인 주법과 아르헨티나의 기타 코드 등의 사용이 그 대표적인 예이다. 그는 이 작품 안에서 이러한 민속적인 요소들을 자신만의 영감과 상상력을 통한 개성적인 방법으로 사용하는 동시에 고전적인 형식과 현대적인 음악 어법을 잘 조화시켜 작곡하여 그만의 새로운 음악 세계를 펼쳐 보였다. ;This thesis is written to study analytically the repertoire performed by the author at the graduate recital required as a partial fulfillment for the master's degree of music. The work is A. Ginastera's piano sonata no. 1, op.22. Ginastera is one of the representative composers of Argentine nationalism in twentieth century. He produced many works of various styles. But in his works, Argentine folk elements are always appeared by any forms of expression. Piano sonata no. 1, op. 22, composed in 1952, has four movements. The first movement is in the traditional sonata form. The third movement is in ternary form. And the second and the fourth ones are in rondo form. The musical feature of this sonata is the coordination of the traditional form, modern musical language, and his own unique nationalism, based on the Argentine folklore. In this work, he used Argentine folk elements, such as Incan pentatonic scale, progression of the parallel third, malambo rhythm, and guitar chord of the gaucho. In this study, I found which elements are under the influence of Argentine folklore and how Argentine folk elements are used and sublimated in his piano sonata no. 1, op. 22 and how great Ginastera is.
