여성의 인간화교육에 관한 연구

Abstract

This thesis is attempt to establish feminist anthropology that is required for christian education for women's humanization and to organize a feminist hermeneutical education model as a method of education for women's humanization. In the first chapter, the motive and significance of this thesis are described. In the second chapter, I attempt to change anthropology of men's superiority over women and misogyny into feminist anthropology because it is understanding of humanity that is the base of christian education throry and praxis. To achieve this task I critically examine psychology throries based in establishing anthropology. Present christian education has accepted theological tradition and exegesis of Bible that have set masculinity for the standard of humanity, admitted and maintained men's rights and superiority. And in understanding humanity, it has accepted psychology theories which have prejudice of men's superiority over women and applied them to human development. Therfore, through criticizing these psychology theories and religious tradition that have discriminated and oppressed women, I look into anthropology suggested by feminist psyshology and feminist theology. Therefore, in this thesis, I suggest a hermeneutical education method to help women be aware thet their way of thinking and frame of reference have been made in men centered society, considering critically their present situation, traditional interpretation of text, religious rules, knowledge and values, and pursuing the new vision. In the of third chapter, I look into the educational theories for the christianity which are composed of Paulo Freire's the conscientization theory and Russell's the humanization theory in order to overcome being dehumanized for the purpose of the pursuit of the humanization. Paulo Freire says that humanization is to be a human-being who can put a thory into action and that the concrete methods of the humanization done by the education through conscientization and that the process from being dehumanized to humanization done by learning and practising should be needed. Letty Russell says that the recovery of the real human nature will be guided into the direction of christianity and that the participation and the conversation will be good methods for the christian education. On the basis of this feminist anthropology, in the third chapter, I try to search for the method of education that will help korean christian women come true this vision of humanity through women's present praxis. Present education method informs the contents of Text or theological doctrines partially. So, women cannot be aware of and overcome their dehumanized situation by it. Therefore, in this thesis, i suggest a hermeneutical education method to help women be aware that their way of thinking and frame of reference have been made in men centered society, considering critically their present situation, traditional interpretation of Text, religious rules, knowledge, and values, and pursue the new vision. I have inserted Maria Harris's the model of education through imagination. Maria Harris insists that women who have been unimportant and passive in society for a long time should be important and acive role in society and that women should find the meaning of women's many experiences so that they can not only occupy important role in the jurisdiction but also help women be active and do many things for the society. After all Maria Harris's the education model is on the basis of women-oriented christianity. I try to explain and insist my ideas with women's house works and the sexism between men and women on the basis of Maria Harris's the education model. In conclusion, in the fourth chapter, the whole study of this thesis is summarized. And i conclude with mentioning some task that should be supplemented in order to make a good use of this hermeneutical education method for humanization of korean wonem in the present situation.;본 논문은 여성의 인간화를 위한 기독교육을 함에 있어서 요구되는 여성해방적인 인간 이해와, 여성의 인간화를 위한 교육 방법의 하나로서 여성해방적인 해석학적 교육모델을 구성하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 제 Ⅰ장에서는 서론으로 논문의 목적과 배용 범위를 밝혔다. 제 Ⅱ장에서는 기독교 교육 이론과 실천에 있어서 중요한 토대가 되는 것이 교육대상인 인간 이해이므로, 남성 우월적이고 여성 혐오적인 인간학에서 여성해방적인 인간학으로의 변화를 시도하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 기존의 기독교교육 이론에서 인간학을 정립하는데 이론적인 토대들이 되었던 심리학 이론들과 기독교 신학전통을 비판적으로 검토해 보았다. 기존의 기독교교육은 인간성의 기준을 남성으로 삼고, 남성들의 권리와 우월성을 인정하고 유지시켜주는 신학적인 전통과 성서해석을 수용하여 왔다. 그리고 남성우월적인 편견들을 지닌 심리학 이론들을 받아들여 인간발달 이해에 적용하여왔으며, 사회도 성차별적인 이데올로기에 기초한 가부장적 문화로 여성의 성역할을 열등시 하였다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 이러한 성차별적이고 여성억압적인 심리학 이론과 종교적인 전통을 비판하고, 여성심리학의 실리건, 벨렝키 등이 여성은 인식방법이나, 정서적 특징 및 도덕판단의 형태에 있어 남성과는 분명히 구분되는 내재적 특성을 지니고 있음을 입증하려는 현태의 연구논뭉과 여성해방적 신학을 중심으로 여성에 관한 새로운 이해를 조명해 보았다. 제 Ⅲ장에서는 비인간화를 극복하기 위한 방안으로서 인간화를 추구하는 기독교 교육이론으로 프레이리의 의식화 이론과 러셀의 인간화이론을 살펴보았다. 프레이리는 인간화란 자유를 실천하는 인간이 되는 것을 말하며, 인간화 작업의 근거로서는 의식화를 통한 교육의 방법을 말한다. 비인간화에서 인간화는 모든 과정을 학습과 기술연마를 통한 방법으로서 참여와 대화의 방법을 제시한다. 제 Ⅳ장에서는 기독교 여성들이 여성해방적인 인간성의 비젼을 여성들의 현실적인 실천을 통해 실현시켜 나갈 수 있도록 하는 교육방법을 모색하여 보았다. 성서의 내용이나 신학적인 교리를 일방적으로 전달하는 기존의 교육 방법으로는 여성들이 주체적으로 자신들의 비 인간화된 상황을 인식하고 극복할 수 없다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 여성들의 사고와 해석의 틀이 남성위주의 세계에서 형성되어 왔다는 사실을 인식하고, 여성 자신과 현재의 상황, 그리고 전통적인 성서해석과 종교적인 규범, 지식, 내면화된 가치들을 비판적으로 성찰하여 새로운 비젼을 향해 나아갈 수 있도록 하는 해석학적 교육 방법을 제시하였다. 이 장의 마지막 부분에서는 여성해방적인 해석학적 교육모델을 구성하였다. 토마스 그룸의 교육모델은 여성들의 현재 경험에서 출발하여 현재 여성들의 삶과 과거 기독교 전통을 비판적으로 성찰하고, 여성들의 이야기들과 기독교 이야기, 그리고 여성들의 비전들과 기독교 비젼사이의 변증법적인 해석을 통해 새로운 비젼을 발견하고 실천적인 결단을 하도록 하는 제 5단계의 해석과정으로 구성되었다. 여성의 인간화라는 주제로 토마스 그룸의 교육모델에 실제 적용해 보았다. 또한 상상력을 통한 마리아 해리스의 교육모델은 사회 안에서 비주류에 속하고 사회에 대한 무조건적인 수용을 위한 교육만을 받아 온 여성들에게 여성이 개인 삶에서나 사회에서 그리고 역사 속에서 주체가 될 수 있도록 하고 그녀들의 시각에서 세계를 바라볼 수 있도록 한다. 또한 여성들의 경험의 의미를 찾고 그것이 교육의 주제가 되어 여성의 성장에 도움이 되도록 하는 것이다. 결국 마리아 해리스의 교육모델은 여성신학적 기반 위에 서있는 것이다. 이러한 기본적인 이해를 가지고 가사노동과 성차별이라는 주제를 가지고, 마리아 해리스의 교육모델에 응용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 했다. 제 Ⅴ장에서 본 논문의 결론으로 내용을 요약하고, 여성의 인간화를 위해 이 해석학적 교육모델이 보다 효율적으로 사용될 수 있기 위해서 보완되어야 할 과제들을 언급하면서 결론을 지었다.
