Edvard Grieg의 Sonata for Cello and Piano in a minor Op.36 에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 에드바르드 그리그(Edvard Grieg,1843-1907)의 <a단조 첼로 소나타,Op.36>에 관한 분석 연구이다. 19세기 후반에서 20세기로 넘어가는 시대 전환기에는 후기 낭만주의를 포함하여 민족주의,인상주의 음악 경향이 나타났다.이와 같은 시기에 활동한 그리그는 독일 낭만주의 음악을 바탕으로 민속 음악과 춤곡을 사용함으로써 노르웨이의 민족주의 음악을 이끌어간 노르웨이의 대표적인 민족주의 음악가이다. 그리그의 여러 작품 중 1882-1883년에 작곡된 <a단조 첼로 소나타,Op.36>은 그의 작품 중 유일한 첼로 소나타이다.이 작품은 그리그의 바이올린 소나타 3곡과 함께 널리 연주되는 곡으로 모두 3개의 악장으로 이루어진다.형식에 있어서 제 1악장과 제 3악장은 소나타 형식으로 이루어지고,제 2악장은 3부분 형식을 확대시킨 5부분 형식으로 이루어지며,각 악장이 전통적인 형식 안에서 이루어진다.선율과 곡의 진행방법에 있어서 이 작품은 짧고 단순한 선율로 진행되며,대조되는 2개의 주제를 성부와 옥타브의 변화,음형의 축소 등 여러 방법을 통하여 변형 발전시킨다.그리고 각 곡마다 지속음과 대위적 기법,반음계적 진행,근친조 이외로의 전조를 포함하여 다양한 전조가 나타나며,그리그의 음악적 특징이 잘 나타난다.;The purpose of this thesis is to understand his music and musical traits analyzing Grieg’s Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op.36. Edvard Grieg(1843-1907),born in Norway,is one of the representative nationalistic composers in Norway.During his student years in Leipzig,Grieg was affected German romanticism.Based on romanticism,he created nationalistic music using folk music and dance,for example,spring dance, halling,and gangar. Grieg composed many chamber works including three violin sonatas,one cello sonata,string quartet and others.Among them,Grieg’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in a minor,Op.36 is the only cello sonata.This work,composed in from 1882 to 1883,has three movements,the first and the third movement in sonata form,and the second movement in song form.Three movements have two contrast themes,which are developed by repeat and transformation.Also,this work is used simple rhythm and lyric melody.There are traditional harmonic progressions, contrapunctal technique,pedal point,chromatic progression, transition of unrelative keys.Like this,Grieg’s Sonata for Cello and Piano,Op.36 shows Grieg’s musical traits.
