남지현의 "Three Pieces for Flute and Cello"의 분석연구

Abstract

This thesis is an analysis of " Pieces for Flute & Cello" which is composed by me for one of the graduation concerts for the completion of my master,s degree. This work is coccentrated on distinctive expressions which are forms, structures, rhythms, melodies and harmonies in each movement. This work which consists of 3 movements, is based on the concept of atonality, expressing a harmony and a character of stringed brassed instrument. The 1st movement consists of 4 sections (A, B, A'. A"), which is characterized with tritone, stress tone of weak beat, and wholetone scale. The 2nd movement which consists of 2 sections ( A, B ). this movements was composed of the traditional form. The 3rd consist of 3 sections (A, B, A'), which is folled at the M2 interval tone, the syncopation, the chromatic scale and the wholetone scale. This work express beauty and hormony of wind and string instruments through melody, rhythrm and scale with extended delovelopement of the proposed motive. It is an atonality work trying different expressions in its musical skill and structures in terms of natural processing in a large range and counterpoint.;본 논문은 본인의 석사학위 이수를 위한 졸업연주회 작품 중의 하나인 “Three Pieces for Flute and Cello"를 분석한 것으로 각 악장별로 형식과 구조, 리듬, 선율, 화성들을 Section별로 분석하여 음악적 특징을 살펴보았다. 3악장으로 이루어진 본 곡은 무조적 개념을 기초로 작곡되어 현악기, 관악기에서 느낄 수 있는 조화와 개성을 각 악장별로 특징 있게 표현하되 곡 전체의 통일성을 나타내고자 동일한 음정구조와 음형 등의 요소를 사용하였다. 제1악장은 A, B, A', A" 4개의 Section으로 구성되었으며 증 4도가 주요 음정관계를 이루며 약박의 강조음, 반음계적 선율진행, 그리고 온음계적 선율이 특징이다. 제2악장은 A와 B 2개의 Section으로 구성되었으며 증 4도의 음정 구조를 기반으로 작곡된 곡으로 주제선율이 계속 발전한다. 제3악장은 A, B, A' 3개의 Section으로 구성되었으며 당김음적 요소, 반음계적 선율진행, 온음계적 선율이 특징이다. 이 곡은 동기가 제시되어 확대, 발전해 나가는 과정에서 선율, 리듬, 음계 등을 통하여 관악기와 현악기의 아름다운 조화를 표현하였다. 또한 대위기법, 넓은 음역에서의 자연스러운 움직임 등을 통하여 음악적 내용과 구성에 다양한 표현을 시도한 현대적인 곡이다.
