Marcel Dupre´ 의 오르간 음악과 Preludes et Fugues Op.7 No.1의 분석연구

Abstract

마르셀 듀프레 (1886~1971) 는 프랑스 근현대 오르간 음악에 있어서 빼놓을수 없는 중요한 인물 중 에 한 사람이다. 그는 역사적인 시기로 볼 때 19세기 말 후기낭만시대와 20세기 현대시대를 풍미했던 프랑스 오르간계의 거장이다. 본 논문은 프랑스 오르간 음악사에서 큰 업적을 남긴 Marcel Dupre´ (1886~1971)의 음악과 그의 작품 Trois Prelude et Fugues Op.7 No.1 작품 B장조의 분석을 통해 앞으로 이 곡을 공부하고자 하는 이들에게 올바른 작품 이해와 연주에 도움을 주기 위함이며 보다 더 깊은 음악적 이해를 넓히고자 19세기 후반과 20세기 초반의 전환기의 중요한 부분을 차지하는 신고전주의 프랑스 오르간음악에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 음악사적인 위치에서의 프랑스 근현대 오르간음악의 역사적인 배경과 특징들을 살펴보고 듀프레의 오르간음악이 어떠한 영향을 받으며 작곡되어졌는지 구체적으로 연구하는데 그 목적이 있다. 그는 음악가의 집안에서 물려받은 재능과 음악적 소질을 자신의 끝없는 노력과 열정으로 연주 활동과 작곡 활동에 전념을 다했다. 체계적인 음악교육을 받으며 당대의 거장들에게서 인정받으며 작곡가, 연주가, 교육가, 저술가로 많은 활동을 하고 그의 업적은 오늘날 까지도 인정받으며 그의 음악은 높게 평가되고 있다. 듀프레의 오르간음악은 심포닉스타일, 표제음악, 예전적스타일, 신고전주의 경향의 음악의 특징으로 구분 할 수 있다. 특별히 신고전주의 음악은 20세기 전반에 프랑스 오르간음악에 크게 영향을 주었던 사조로서 17~18세기 의 음악적인 특징과 20세기 현대의 새로운 스타일과 합성되어 나타난 하나의 오르간 음악 사조이다. 이것은 그의 초기 작품에서 두드러진 양상을 보이며 프렐류드, 푸가, 캐논,변주곡 의 작곡기법의 형식과 현대적인 감각이 돋보이는 색채적인 화성의 결합으로 그의 음악의 특색으로 자리 잡았다. 그의 작품 'Trois Preludes et Fugues Op.7 No. 1'은 신고전주의 스타일 작품의 대표적인 예이다. 이 작품은 전통적인 형식과 현대적인 화성과 빠른 16분음표의페세지, 당김음의 사용, 손건반과 페달성부의 대등한 리듬과 선율의 움직임의 요소가 결합하여 수직적인 화성과 수평적인 선율을 현대적인 감각으로 작곡된 작품이라 할 수 있다.;Marcel Dupre´ (1886~1971) is one of the most important person in French post modern organ music. Looking at the historical time period, he was the master of Organ from the end of 19th century’s period of Romantic to 20th century’s period of Modern. This thesis analyzes the great Marcel Dupre´ (1886~1971) in organ music history and his work, “Trois Prelude et Fugues Op.7 No.1 B Major” to help and aid those of who wish to learn this music and to understand the Neo Classicism in French organ music’s change between the end of 19th century and early 20th century. France is the most significant place for music and it also has a main focus on the research of historical background and special features of French post modern music and it explains how it had an influence on Dupre’s organ music’s composition. Dupré was born in a family of musicians and was inherited with the talent in music but also had never ending efforts in composing and playing music. Throughout his life time, he had education in music systematically and thoroughly. He then had recognition and praise from the great musicians at the time. He lived as a composer, a performer, an educator, and a writer and his achievements are still praised now and his music is still valued these at the present time. Dupré ’s organ music can be divided into Symphonic Style, Program Music, Liturgical Style, Neo Classicism.Especially Neo Classicism had major influence on early 20th century’s French organ music. Neo Classicism especially had a major influence on early 20th century’s French organ music. He synthesized the music characteristics of 17th~18th century with modern music characteristics of 20th century’s to create another trend of music. This clearly appeared in his early work of music. His color of music stood out by his composing technique with Prelude, Fugue, Canon and Variation, and colorful harmony with modernized senses. His work, Trois Preludes et Fugues Op.7 No. 1, is the most popular example of Neo Classicism. It keeps the typical methods of Prelude and Fugue. This work combines traditional methods with modernized harmony. It also uses the Syncopation, equal rhythm and melody between parts of Manual and Pedal to produce vertical harmony and horizontal melody. This helps composing modernized work of music.
