대안학교 학생들의 자기조절동기, 자율성지지와 진로포부, 심리적 안녕감과의 관계

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the deferences of self-regulated motivations, autonomy support, career aspiration, psychological well-being between the alternative school students and the common school students. Also the study is to examine the relationship self-regulated motivation, teachers` autonomy support, parents` autonomy support and career aspiration, the relationship self-regulated motive, teachers` autonomy support, parents` autonomy support and psychological well-being, comparing the alternative school students with the common school students. Participants were 197 common middle, high school students and alternative 187 middle, high school students from Seoul and Kyung-gi. T-test was used to examine the difference between the alternative school students and the common school students, the extent of self-regulated motive, parents` autonomy support, teachers` autonomy support, career aspiration, psychological well-being. The result is that alternative school students have more self-regulated motive, parent`s autonomy support, teachers` autonomy support and the personal growth in the low level of psychological well-being than the common school students. Multiful regression was used to examine the relationship self-regulated motive, teachers` autonomy support, parents` autonomy support and career aspiration. The result is that self-regulated motivation in the alternative school students and parents` autonomy support in the common school students are meaningful on the career aspiration. Also, multiful regression was used to examine the relationship self-regulated motive, teachers` autonomy support, parents` autonomy support and psychological well-being. The result is that self-regulated motivations, teachers` autonomy support, parents` autonomy support are in order meaningful on the psychological well-being in the alternative school students. On the other hand, parents` autonomy support, self-regulated motivations, teachers` autonomy support are in order meaningful on the psychological well-being in the common school students.;본 연구는 대안학교 학생들과 일반학교 학생들 간에 자기조절동기, 부모와 교사의 자율성지지, 진로포부, 심리적 안녕감에 어떤 집단 간 차이를 나타내는지를 알아보고, 자기조절동기와 부모, 교사의 자율성 지지가 진로포부를 설명하는 정도와 자기조절동기와 부모, 교사의 자율성 지지가 심리적 안녕감을 설명하는 정도가 대안학교와 일반학교 집단 간에 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기도에 있는 일반 중고등학교 학생 197명과 일반학교 학생들과의 형평성을 위하여, 학교부적응과 중도탈락 학생을 대상으로 하는 재적응 대안학교가 아닌, 학력인정 대안학교로서 일반학교와 비슷한 학업을 하고 있는 대안학교 학생들 189명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구도구는 자기조절동기를 측정하기 위하여 Kim(2000)이 한국 학생들에게 맞도록 제작한 학업적 자기조절동기 질문지(K-SRQ-A)를 사용하였다. 자율성 지지를 측정하기 위하여 Hardre와 Reeve(2003)가 제작하고 문은식(2005)이 우리나라 실정에 맞게 수정, 보완한 자율성지지 척도를 사용하였다. 진로포부를 측정하기 위하여 O`brien(1993)이 개발한 Career Aspiration Scale 을 최수욱(2003)이 번안한 것을 사용하였다. 심리적 안녕감 척도는 Ryff(1989)가 개발한 심리적 안녕감 척도(Psychological Well-Being Scale: PWBS)를 사용하였다. 각 변인별로 대안학교와 일반학교 학생들 t 검증을 실시한 결과, 자기조절동기, 부모의 자율성지지, 교사의 자율성지지, 심리적 안녕감의 하위변인으로는 개인성장에서 대안학교 학생들이 일반학교 학생들보다 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나왔다. 또한, 진로포부에 설명력 있는 변인을 중다회귀 분석한 결과 대안학교 학생들에게서는 자기조절동기가, 일반학교 학생들에서는 부모 자율성 지지가 설명력이 높은 변인으로 나왔다. 심리적 안녕감에 설명력 있는 변인을 중다회귀 분석한 결과 대안학교 학생들에게서는 자기조절동기, 교사 자율성지지, 부모 자율성지지 순서로 높았으며 일반학교 학생들에게서는 부모 자율성지지, 자기조절동기, 교사 자율성지지 순서로 높았다. 이는 주체적이고 자율적으로 공부하도록 하는 대안학교 학생들이 일반학교 학생들보다 내재적 동기가 높고, 부모와 교사의 자율성 지지를 더 높게 지각할 것이라는 본 연구의 연구 문제를 지지하는 결과이다. 또한, 진로포부와 심리적 안녕감에 설명력 있는 변인이 대안학교와 일반학교 학생들에게 각기 다르게 나타난 것은 각 집단별로 중요하게 설명되며 변화를 많이 주는 변인이 대안학교 학생들에게는 자기조절동기로, 일반학교 학생들에게는 부모의 자율성 지지로 각기 다른 것으로 해석된다. 따라서 대안학교 학생들에게는 외재적 동기가 아닌 내재적 동기에 의해 공부하고 진로를 계획할 수 있도록 돕고, 일반학교 학생들에게는 부모가 자녀를 믿고 신뢰하며 자율적으로 공부할 수 있는 분위기를 만들어 주는 것이 중요하다는 상담적 함의를 갖는다.
