dc.description.abstractThe selection of a pairing-friendly elliptic curve for a practical application to cryptography depends on many factors. We study about pairing, pairingfriendly elliptic curves and several important factors for choice of pairing-friendly elliptic curves. In the conclusion section (Section 7), we propose some future works to investigate for pairing-friendly curves.;암호에서 효과적으로 응용할 수 있는 pairing-friendly elliptic curve를 결정하는 데에 있어서 여러 가지 중요한 요소들이 있다. 이 논문에서는 암호에서 쓰이는 pairing과 pairing-friendly elliptic curve에 대해 설명하고 pairing-friendly elliptic curve를 선택할 때 중요한 요소에 대하여 공부한다. 마지막 절에서는 앞으로 해 나아가야 할 연구분야를 제시한다.-
