資金豫測에 關한 硏究

Abstract

국 영문초록 수록;企業이 經營活動을 함에 있어서, 그 目的을 利潤의 極大化 및 企業價値의 極大化에 두고, 이 目的을 達成하기 위해 企業은 現在의 經營狀態를 維持하려 하고 나아가서는 더욱 나은 財務狀態에 도달하기 위해 새로운 意思決定 및 投資決定을 한다. 企業이 行하는 이러한 決定들의 核心이 資金에 對한 問題이며, 이 資金이란 企業內에서 調達可能한 資金과 外部에서 調達해야 할 資金으로 나누어지는데 이들의 규모를 決定하는 것은 그리 쉬운 일이 아니다. 따라서 이 硏究의 目的을 企業이 未來에 所要할 總資金中, 內部調達可能資金을 제외하고 外部에서 調達해야 할 追加的인 資金이 얼마나 되는 가를 豫測하는데 두고 있다. 또한 이것을 豫測하는 方法에는 여러 가지가 있으나 이 論文에서는 가장 有用性이 높은 두가지 方法 즉 賣出額百分率法과 回歸分析技法을 가지고 우리나라의 上場企業中 21個企業을 選定하여 그 企業들의 9個年間의 財務諸表로써 分析하였으며 이 두 方法에 의해 豫測된 結果의 誤差率을 比較하여 더 正確性이 있는 方法을 찾아내고자 했다. 硏究結果, □出額百分率法에 의한 豫測値보다 回歸分析技法에 의한 豫測値가 實際額에 더 가까운 것으로 나타났다. 원래, □出額百分率法은 短期財務豫測에 대해 상당히 큰 效果를 거둘 수 있고 長期財務豫測에는 回歸分析技法이 主로 使用된다고 알려져 있으나, 本 硏究의 結果, 短期財務豫測에 대해서도 □出額百分率法에 의한 豫測보다는 손쉽게 豫測하기 어렵다는 短點은 지니고 있으나 過去의 趨勢가 考慮되어 比較的 科學的이고 妥當性이 크다고 볼 수 있는 回歸分析技法에 의한 豫測잉 더욱 正確性이 있는 것으로 分析되었다.;One of the important corporate decision makings has been the forecast of future funds needed. It's been known that "the percent of sales method" is a relatively simple but useful financial planning tool, especially for the purpose of forecasting "funds needed externally". The purpose of this study is to examine the applicability of this forecasting method in the case of Korean firms. Furthermore, the study aims to compare this simple forecasting device with more sophisticated device, namely "regression analysis" which takes sales volume as the determinant factor of investments. The 21 sample firms are drawn from companies listed on Korean Stock Exchange, on random basis. The period covered for the regression analysis and others is 1972-1981. The results of study indicates that the per cent of sales method on average stands well for the forecast of corporate funds needed in the immediate next year. Moreover, as expected, the more sophisticated forecasting device of regression analysis is found to be slightly better than the simple per cent of sales method.
