Guillaume Dufay의 작품연구

Abstract

15세기는 사회적인 면으로나 음악적인 면으로서나 과도적인 시기였다. 사회적으로는 백년전쟁의 혼란속에 있었으며 음악적인 면으로는 고딕적인 전통에서 벗어나 르네상스로 향하려는 강한 움직임이 싹텄던 시기였다. 그러므로 이 시기에 살았던 대표적인 인물인 Dufay는 고딕전통에 속한 작품을 쓰기도 했으며 또한 이 전통에서 벗어난 자유로운 새로운 기법으로 된 작품을 쓰기도 했다. 본 논문은 Dufay의 작품을 Chanson, Motet, Mass의 세부분으로 나누어 대표적이고 특징적인 작품을 뽑아서 분석했다. Chanson ; 초기의 Chanson → Adieu ces bon vins de Lannoy와 Vergine bella 중기의 Chanson → Mille bonjour 후기의 Chanson → Adieu m´amour, Mon Chier amy.을 분석했으며 Motet ; 두가지 기법으로 쓰여졌는데 Cantus firmus을 기초로 한 Song motet → Alma Redemptoris Mater와 Ave Regina Caelorum과 Isorhythm적인 motet로서 → Nuper rosarum flores을 분석했다. Mass ; 세속적인 선율을 tenor로 사용한 L'homme arme´와 Se la face ay pale을 분석했다. 이상의 작품을 분석함으로서 Dufay가 프랑스 고딕전통과 이태리, 영국의 영향을 조화시킨 개인적인 양식을 취했으며 고딕전통과 르네상스 음악을 연결하는 다리적인 역할을 했음을 알 수 있다.;The 15th century, as seen in the light of society or in that of music, was a transitional period. Society was affected by the confusion of the Hundred Years' War and in music there was the powerful movement out of the Gothic tradition toward the Renaissance. Guillaume Dufay was the living representative of this time as his works refect both the Gothic tradition and the new free style of the new age. This thesis is divided into three parts : Dufay's Chanson, his Motet, and his Mass, for each of which representative works, displaying the character of each, will be analized. I have selected the following works : Chanson : the early period of chanson "Adieu Ces Bon Vins de Lannoy" and "Vergine bella" the middle period of chanson "Mille Bonjours" the final period of chanson "Adieu m'amours" "Mon Chier Amy" Motet : In the Cantus firmus style based on the SongMotet "Alma Redemptoris Mater" and "Ave Regina Caelorum", and in the Isorhythm Motet "Nuper Rosarum Flores" Mass : In the secular melody, for a tenor "L'homme arm'e" and "Se la face ay pale" Dufay managed to unite the French Gothic tradition with that stemming from Italy and England in his works and thus forms the bridge connecting the Gothic tradition with that of the Renaissance.
