dc.description.abstractThis study has been initiated to observe the priority of locations in Korea Industrial Estates in respect of multi-objective goal programming applications. From the early times, governments, public organizations, and industries have studied the theoretical problem of location decision and normative location-decision models, and the importance of the problem has actually been recognized in industry. However, the conventional normative location-decision model was relatively far from present status, that is, it mainly stressed the single-objective optimization, as cost minimization or profit maximization. For there are lots of differences between the single-objective locations and generally optimized locations, these models are not fitted to present status. Hence development of location-decision model is required in order to make application of it to the real problems. These problems turn to be more serious in location-decision problems of Industrial Estates. Hence, it almost become impossible to find the appropriate location of the estates if multi-objectives of facilities and considered factors are not generally observed, and it is necessary to improve new model which deals with more location factors simultaneously than former model in the location decision of Industrial Estates. Concerning these problems, the study conducts the observation and review in following respects; 1) Typical models are reviewed through the evaluation of traditional locational-decision model. As it is actually far from the present value, it doesn't help much more to actual location decision. 2) A evaluation model is developed to measure the extent of satifying all the objectives which are pursued in location decision problems with utilizing the goal programming that compromises conflict objectives and suggest satisfactory solutions on them. 3) The evaluation model is set up for measuring the propriety of location in present Korea Industrial Estates including Banweol, Gumi, Ulsan, Pohang and Changweon. And the extent of adaptability to the original objectives in the above locations are measured through the model. 4) The factors to investigate the adequacy of locations in the above 5 industries complex are; (1) production capacity to meet the demands (2) pollution below the allowable level (3) adequate site of industry complex (4) adequate industrial water (5) adequate energy (6) transportation cost below the admitted level. As that result, the validity of locations for the five industrial estates are relatively satisfied. The key point of the study is not to select the finest complex among the sites proposed, but to estimate the adequacy of industrial estates constructed already. So, it may be concluded that the importance of this study lies in the fact that it initiates to suggest the possibility of application of new developed model to location-decision problem end to solve the general location problems.;本 論文은 工場 立地決定, 특히 多數의 異質的인 工場들이 모여있는 工業團地의 立地的 妥當性을 評價하기 위한 模型의 構築과 이 模型을 韓國의 工業團地에 適用한 事例硏究를 주된 內容으로 하고 있다. 從來의 立地決定技法이 대체로 費用이나 距離의 最小化와 같은 單一의 目標를 追求하였기 때문에 실제문제의 適用에 있어서 非現實的인 結果를 도출하기가 쉽고, 보다 다양하게 主要立地要因들을 考濾할 수 없는 등의 技法上의 限界가 많았다. 더우기 特性이 각각 다른 여러 産業, 業種의 工場들을 한곳에 立置시킬 工業團地를 選定하는 것은 더욱 多樣한 立地要因들을 考濾할 수 있어야 하므로, 傳統的인 立地決定技法은 利用하기 힘들다 할 것이다. 本 硏究에서는 이러한 立地決定을 위하여 目標計劃模型(Goal Progrmming Model)을 構築하여 多數의 目標를 同時에 만족시킬 수 있는 立地를 선택할 수 있는 技法을 모색하고자 했다. 一般的으로 工業團地 立地時에 儉討하는 立地要因들로서는 需要, 公害, 工業用地, 用水, 電力, 輸送費 등과 勞動力 供給可能力 등을 들 수 있는데 여기에서는 資料의 입수가 불가능했던 勞動力 供給可能性만을 제외한 諸目標들을 함께 考濾하여 만족스러운 解를 제공해 줄 수 있는 立地評價模型을 수립하였다. 이와 같이 하여 構築된 立地決定模型은 韓國의 대표적인 다섯개 工業團地인 蔚山, 龜尾, 昌原, 浦項, 半月工團에 適用하였고 「컴퓨터」에 의해 最終解가 계산되었다. 計算結果에 따르면 모든 目標를 만족시키는 立地는 없었으며 未成就된 目標에 대해서는 各 工團別로 解決策을 강구해야만 될 것으로 結論지어졌다. 이로써 本 論文은 從來의 單一目標의 最適化技法들에 대한 限界를 넘어서서 多樣한 多數目標를 同時에 考慮하여 이를 滿足시킬 수 있는 立地技法의 開發을 위한 첫걸음을 내 디딘 데에 커다란 意味가 있다고 하겠다.-
