dc.description.abstractThe qualitative of some cations could be identified since the mixture of two or three cations were easily resolved by radial differential diffusion in a concentrated gel of gelatin. Individual cations diffuse in accordance with Fick's First Law and these can be identified by their radial diffusion distance under the condition of various concentration (0.05. 0.10, 0.20 and 0.40N) of the nitrate solution. From the results, the standards of radial diffusion distance of various cations have been established. Comparing these standards with diffusion distance of unknown cation in range of concentration value from 0.05 to 0.40N solution, it may be decluced that the qualitative and quantitative estimation of some cations can be attained.-
