Special thanks are due to the Physics Division, AERI, and its director, Dr. Y.J.Lee for their cooperation and support of this research.;最近 敎年向 Ti^(46)(n,p)Sc^(46), Ti^(47)(n,p)Sc^(47), 및 Ti^(48)(n,p)Sc^(48) 反應에 처한 많은 cross secation data가 硏究發表되었다. 그러나 그 data는 各各 顯著한 差異를 들어내고 있다. 우리는 Average fission neutron cross section을 決定하기 위하여 Nickel을 Reference fast neufron flux monifor로 하여 Titanium을 Activation analysis에 依해 分析하였다. TRIGA-MARK Ⅱ reactor의 Central thimble 中心部에서 Titanium sponge 와 Nickel foil을 中性子로 照射시켰고 그 Activity는 3"*3" NaI(Tℓ) Scintillation Spectrometer로 測定했다. crystal의 Photo-peak 效率을 通用하여 各 gamma-energy에 처한 Absolute activity를 計算했다. Ti^(46)(n,p)Sc^(46), Ti^(47)(n,p)SC^(47)과 Ti^(48)(n,p)Sc^(48) 反應에 對하여 測定된 Cross section과 그 標準誤差로서 各各 11.4±0.9mb, 19.7±1.0mb 및 0.28±0.02mb을 얻었다. 이들 값은 部分的으로 Zijp等의 最近 data와 符合함을 나타내고 있다. 原子爐 爐心部의 重眞軸에 對한 Fast neutron fiux 分布는 Nickel과 Titanium의 두 Detector를 使用하여 測定했고 그 結果를 가지고 原子爐內의 Fast neutron 測定을 위한 Threshold detector의 應用에 關聯하여 部分的으로 考察해 보았다.
