제주 방언의 동사류 접미사 연구

Abstract

언어는 개인에 따라 서로 다를 분 아니라, 가족 부락 도시 등 사회적 구분에 따라 다르다. 우리는 한 개의 언어 형태가 지리적 내지 사회적 차이 때문에 달리 사용하는 경우를 흔히 본다. 언어의 역사적 변화는 지리적 분포와 결부되어, 독특한 지역을 형성한다. 초점지역, 전이지역, 외연지역이 그것이며, 그외에 회랑형 지역을 들 수 있다. 언어특질의 지리적 분포에는 역사적 암시가 내표되어 있어서, 이것을 가지고 그 특질의 초기상태에 관한 추측을 할 수 있다. 이와 같이 사회적 변화, 역사적인 변화와 지역적인 변화로 인하여 형성된 특정지역의 언어를 방언이라 한다. 방언 연구는, 하나의 언어가 다른 언어와 관계없이 독립해서 연구될 수 있는 것과 같이, 독립적으로 연구될 수 있다. 한 언어형태 구조에 대한 연구가 형태소 분석에서 출발하듯이, 방언의 형태 구조에 대한 연구도 그러하다. 형태소 분석에 있어서 고려해야 할 것은, 단일 형태소의 이형태를 구분하는 일이다. 이형태는 주어지는 조건이 음운론적 조건이나 형태론적 조건, 또는 수의변화에 따르 그 형태를 달리한다. 한 개의 형태소가 음운론적 조건 내지 형태론적 조건을 받아 변화하는 현상을 형태 음운 변화라 한다. 한 언어 형태 구조를 형성하는 방법에는 여러 가지가 있겠으나, 그중 동사류나 형용사류는 일정한 접사 첨가 과정에 의하여 형성된다. 접사 첨가 과정은 어근이나 어간에 접사가 붙어서 문법상의 변동이나, 의미상의 변화를 일으키는 형태 생성과정을 말한다. 본 연구는 한국어 방언권 중에서 지리적 분포를 볼 때, 가장 외곽적 지역에 해당하는 제주 방언의 동사류 종지법에 관한 것이다. 제주 방언의 동사류 어간에 배합되는 여러 접미사의 형태소와 공통어의 그것과를 비교 검토하는 방법으로 시도한 본 연구에서 발견한 것은, 공통어에서 찾을 수 없었던 여러 가지 독특한 형태소들이었다. 태 접미사의 {-ci-}, 시간 접미사의 형태소 중 동작이나 행동이 지속되는, 즉 미완료 시간의 형태소로 {-m-}이 보이며, 상태 접미사로 고어형의 잔존으로 보이는 {-si-}가 있으며, 의지, 추측을 나타내는 {-kh-} {-n-}과 상 접미사중, 회상 형태소인 {-a-}/-a- -□-/가 그것이며, 종지 접미사 중, 의문형 형태소로 공통어에서 쓰이지 않는 {-ta-}가 보이다. 가장 특이한 형태로는 종지 접미사 다음에 덧붙이는 접사라 할 것이다. {-massim}, {-ya□}, {-ke}, {-i} 등이 그것이다.;Language differ with the various levels such as individual and social factors. We can see a language from that can be spoken by social and geographical difference. Regional Variation has certain connection with geographical differences. A special peculiarity of language can be divided into three areas-point area, transition area, and marginal area. We can call the peculiarity as dialect. This study is intended to study inflectional final ending suffixes of verb-class word of Cheju dialect. To proceed the study, comparative methods were used to analyze the suffix morphemes, standard and Cheju dialect. Analyzed dialectal morpheme lists are as follows : - 1 suffix(voice suffix) Morphemes : {-u-}, {-li-}, {-ci-}, {-chi-], {-i-}, {-ku] conditioning : each morphemes are morphologically conditioned in complementary distribution(CD). - 3 suffix(time suffix) time perfect morphemes : {-ke-}, {-n-} conditioning : /-n- -an- -□n-/ are phonologically conditioned and /(-n- -an- -□n) -□-/ are morphologically conditioned in CD. time imperfect morphemes : {-m-} conditioning : /-m- -am -□m-/ are phonologically conditioned in CD. time perfect morphemes and time imperfect morphemes are in CD. - 4 suffix(state suffix) morphemes : {-si-} conditioning : /-s- -si-/ are morphologically conditioned in CD. - 5 suffix(prospective suffix) morphemes : {-kh-}, {-l-}, {-n-} conditioning : each morphemes are morphologically conditioned in CD. - 6 suffix(honorific suffix) morphemes : {-u-}, {-p-} conditioning : each morphemes are morphologically conditioned in CD. - 7 suffix(aspect suffix) morphemes : {-a-}, {-la-}, {-ti-} conditioning : {-a-} is phonologically conditioned and {-ti-} is optional variation in CD. - 8 suffix(final ending suffix) morphemes : {-cu-}, {-ta-}, {-kka}, {-me}, {-ke}, {-la} conditioning : each morphemes are morphologically conditioned in CD. - 9 suffix(added form) morphemes : {-massim}, {-ya}, {-ke}, {-i} conditioning : each morphemes are in CD.
