업종별 품질관리특성에 관한 연구

Abstract

중소제조기업의 생산성과 경쟁력을 동시에 확보하기 위해서 품질경영이 요구된다. 품질경영은 최고경영자로부터 일선작업자에 이르기까지 일관된 품질방침하에 기업을 총체적으로 운영하는 것이다. 이러한 품질경영을 실행하기 위해서는 각 기업이 처한 상황에 알맞는 품질경영실천방안을 마련해야 할 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 현재 중소제조기업에서 실행하고 있는 품질관리의 상황을 업종별로 파악함으로써, 중소제조기업의 품질경영전환시 유용한 정보를 제공하고자 함이다. 이를 위해 각 업종별로 제품품질과 품질요인간의 영향력을 분석하고 각 품질기능에서의 업종간 수준을 비교하였다. 연구결과 현재 중소제조기업에서의 품질관리는 기업성과향상을 위해 품질경영으로 전환이 요구된다. 석유화학, 기계, 금속업종의 경우 여러가지 품질관리요인들이 제품품질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 비금속, 전기, 전자, 섬유, 수송기계의 경우 비교적 품질통제의 의미를 지니는 품질관리요인들만이 제품품질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 소비자와의 연계나 품질경영의 토대마련을 위해 더욱 노력해야 할 것이다. 업종간 수준을 비교한 결과에 의하면 품질검사 및 평가를 제외한 모든 품질관리기능들의 행동수준에서 목재 가구업종과 비금속 광물업종이 비교적 타업종에 비해 전반적 품질관리기능에 대해 우수함을 나타내었고, 공정관리를 제외한 품질관리기능에서는 석유화학, 전기, 전자업종이 비교적 낮은 품질관리기능수준을 나타내었다.;To improve productivity and competitive power, a midium and small firm needs a quality management. The quality management is an aspect of the overall management function that determines and implements a quality policy from top manager to bottom workers. To develope the quality management, it is needed that we just consider the balance of a firm's category of business and it's practice of quality management. So the study accomplished midium and small firm's quality control activities according to the types of industry. Specially the connection of firm's performance and quality management factors is focused and quality management of a type of industries is compared with that of others. As the result of this study, product quality is relatively affected with various quality management factors in petroleum ＆ chemical, machinery, fabricated metalic product industries. In the case of nonmetallic mineral product, electricity, electronic product, textiles ＆ wearing industries, a few quality management factors (for example processing controll, quality inspection ＆ quality evaluation, facilities management) affect quality of product. As the result of comparing types of business, wood ＆ furniture, nonmetalic mineral product industries are generally included in the best group. But the worst group includes electricity, electronic product, petrileum ＆ chemical industries.
