Abstract
In this study, preparation of new chelating resins bearing dihydroxamic acid groups and the adsorptive ability for heavy metal ions are described. The various types of the macroporous polychloromethylstyrene (PCMS) resin matrix were firstly synthesized by crosslinking chloromethylstyrene (CMS) with Divinylbenzene or Ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate. PCMS was treated with diethyl malonate in N,N-dimethylformamide to give the resin having diethyl malonate groups. This resins were the treated with hydroxylamine in methanol to afford the dihydroxamic acid resin. The dihydroxamic acid polymer contained carboxylic acid groups as well as hydroxamic acid ones. The polymer showed an excellent adsorption capacity for uranium ions.;본 연구에서는 Dihydroxamic acid기를 함유하는 새로운 chelate resin과 그것의 금속흡착능을 검토하였다. chloromethyl group을 포함하고 있는 chloromethylstyrene을 단량체로 하고 Divinylbenzene과 Ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate를 가교제로 사용하여 macroporous형의 polychloromethylstyrene을 합성하였다. polychloromethylstyrene은 N,N-dimethylformamide를 용매로 하여 Diethylmalonate와 반응시켜 Diethylmalonate가 도입된 resin을 제조한 다음 메탄올속에서 hydroxylamine과 반응시켜 최종적으로 Dihydroxamic acid chelate resin을 제조하였다. 제조된 chelate resin을 이용하여 Cr, Co, Cu, Cd, Ni, UO_(2)^(+2) 금속이온에 대한 흡착능을 시험한 결과 Ni, Co, Cr, Cd등의 금속이온에 대해서는 거의 흡착능을 보이지 않으나 UO_(2)^(+2) 이온에 대하여 높은 흡착능을 보여 주었다.
