立體派와 構成主義의 특성을 결합한 人體 表現 연구

Abstract

Under the modeling spirit of cubism and constructivism that is intent to express the nature of subject, this thesis focuses on shaping the human body by substituting spatial structure for a part of shape. The objects of this thesis are to verify the modeling pecularities which come out as a result of substituting the mix of metal bar for a part of human body and to express the subjects with the application of cubism and constructivism's special character. Based upon survey of documents, I suggest seven works which represents the special character of cubism and constructivism appropriately. The works submitted in this thesis which follow the simplification and reconstruction of cubism and constructivism, shape the model by replacing a part of shape with spatial structure of metal bar. The contents of works are one clay, one wood, two stones, two metals and one teracotta. Metal meterials like iron and bronze were selected as means for the spatial structure. Spatial structure which is made up of metal bar mainly locates on the upper side of the shape and occupies half of the model. The span of metal bar is irregular and occupies half of total space. The analysis of works focuses on mass, space, contrast and moving effect. The results of study can be summarized as follows. First, as a result of dividing and simplifying the object with seperated faces, the new shape is created on the basis of cubism and constructiviosm's special character. Second, spatial structure of metal bar creats centripetal and positive space and changes the sense of weight by projecting the mass. Third, the contrast effect of massiveness comes out because the spatial structure of metal bar focuses on space and the part of mass focuses on volume. Fourth, linear factor of spatial structure of metal bar which continues in geometrically firm pattern reinforces spatial sense and moving effect by invoking optical illusion. Modeling by way of replacing the part of mass with spatial structure of metal bar represents various contrasts on mass and space, moving effect of optical illusion and changes in sense of weight.;조각은 그 역사의 시작에서부터 재료의 無造形的인 덩어리를 제거해 가거나 예술 형태로서 덩어리를 구축해 나감으로서 형상을 창조해 나가는 과정으로 나눌 수 있다. 이러한 과정은 결국 공간에 대한 문제를 해결하려는 예술가들의 의지에서 기인하다. 이에 본 연구는 조각의 기본 문제인 공간에 대해 적극적으로 대응한 입체파와 구성주의 양식의 조형적 특성을 결합하여 새로운 조형적 특성을 밝히고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 입체파와 구성주의 양식의 특성을 연구하여 새로운 조형적 요소와 특성을 포함한 인체를 표현하고자 한다. 본 연구의 내용은 20세기 미술, 입체파와 구성주의를 이론적 배경으로 고찰하고, 표현에 관한 근거 제시로서 특성이 잘 표현된 입체파 작품과 구성주의 작품을 표출하여 단순화 하고 기하학적인 형태로 재구성한 입체파의 조형적 특성과 線을 표현수단으로 하여 운동역학적인 구성주의의 조형적 특성을 추출한다. 작품 제작은 가하학적 특성과 線을 표현수단으로한 특성을 결합하는 방법으로 인체를 표현하였다. 본 연구의 방법은 문헌 조사와 작품 제작 및 분석을 병행하였고, 이와같은 연구의 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 형태를 과감하게 단순화 하고 기하학적으로 재구성한 특성과 양괴로서의 조각을 탈피하고 線을 표현수단으로한 특성을 적용하여 역동적인 공간구조를 포함한 기하 형태로 표현된 통합 형태가 창출된다. 둘째, 線을 표현수단으로한 공간구조는 透視가능하여 공간이 강조되었고, 양괴 부분은 volume이 강조되어 상호 공간 대비, 양감의 대비 효과가 나타난다. 셋째, 線을 표현수단으로한 공간구조는 표현수단이 된 線적인 요소가 기하학적으로 견고한 윤곽의 패턴으로 일정한 단계를 갖고 연속되어 착시현상을 유발함으로서 공간감과 운동감을 가중한다. 이와 같이 상이한 특성을 가진 입체파와 구성주의를 결합하여 표현한 형태는 통합형태로서 새로운 조형적 특성이 나타나며, 양과 공간에 대한 다양한 대비효과, 착시에 의한 운동효과등 시각적 특성을 가지게 된다.
