Abstract
가교 폴리스티렌의 염화메틸화와 염화벤조일화 반응을 통하여 고분자 수지 基體의 외관과 가교도, 반응에 사용되는 용매, 반응 온도가 고분자 반응에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Divinylbenzene(DVB), Ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate(EGD), Butanediol dimethacrylate(BDD) 가교 다공형 폴리스티렌 수지 基體를 dichloroethane, tetrachloroethane, nithrobenzene 등의 용매내에서 반응 시약으로 methylal과 chlorosulfonic acid를 사용하여 염화메틸화시키고 DVB가교 폴리스티렌 수지 基體를 nitrobenzene내에서 AICℓ_(3)를 촉매로 하여 P-chlorobenzoyl chloride로 염화 벤조일화하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 가교제의 영향은 EGD, BDD가교 폴리스티렌에서 보다 DVB가교 폴리스티렌에서 가교도가 상승됨에 따라 고분자 반응성이 급격히 저하되었다. 용매의 영향은 dichloroethane은 가교제의 종류와 가교도에 따라 다른 영향을 주지 않으나 tetrachloroethane과 nitrobenzene은 선택적으로 작용하였다. 염화 벤조일화 반응시에는 반응온도 50℃, 폴리스티렌/ p-CBC/AlCℓ_(3)=1/2/0.5의 조건이 적합한 반응 조건이었다.;Through the chloromethylation reaction and chlorobenzoylation reaction of polystyrene, the effects of the external appearance of polymer resin matrix, crosslinking ratio, solvents and reaction temperature on the polymeric reaction have been investigated. DVB, EGD or BDD crosslinked macroporous type polystyrene resin matrix have been chloromethylated by methylal and chlorosulfonic acid in various solvents including dichloroethane, tetrachloroethand and nitrobenzene. DVB crosslinked macroporous type and bead type polystyrene resin matrix have been chlorobenzoylated by p-chlorobenzoyl-chloride using AlCl_(3)=1/2/0.5 (mole ratio) in compounding condition. DVB crosslinked macroporous type and bead type polystyrene resin matrix have been chlorobenzoylated by p-chlorobengoyl-chloride using AlCl_(3) as catalyst. The results obtained as follow; 1. In chloromethylation reaction DVB had greater effect as crosslinking agent than EGD and BDD. DVB crosslinked polystyrene, increasing the cosslinking ratio polymeric reaction was drastically decreased. 2. Among the solvents using chloromethylation reaction dichloroethane was little affected by kinds of crosslinking agent and crosslinking ratio but tetrachloroethane and nitrobenzene were sometimes affected. 3. Appropriate reaction condition of chlorobenzoylation reaction was 50 C in reaction temperature, polystyrene/P-CBC/AlCl_(3)=1/2/0.5 (mole ratio) in compounding condition.
